I would hope that after a trial of this length the jury would spend at least a few days deliberating.

To us, that have been looking at this case for months and discussing it and know more details than the jury does. It seems to most of us that they should have come to a quick verdict but we can't imagine what its really like for those 12 people right now.
I know, right? I was thinking about this while trying to go to sleep last night. I am more concerned about a hung jury...because I could see it going that way. The wait is torture.

Plus, I remember thinking Casey Anthony was an open and shut case. The jury returned with a quick verdict. But I remember my jaw dropping, and staying dropped for a long time, when the "not guilty" verdict was read. I was so stunned, sad, outraged. This jury has not been in it for long, and there is no indication that they are at a stand-still. We just need to be patient, and let them do their job. Praying can't hurt, either!

[QrtUOTE=M Joy;3412147]I agree. I think she was more focused on making sure TA was dead than making this a "perfect murder".
    she got sloppy.[/QUOTE]

Acckkk Stabby "tries" to appear smart but she is a witnit! She uses words inappropriately as part of her efforts to conform who she wants other people to think she is. In her email to TA complaining about not getting a shout out from him for her editing spelling, grammar etc......ah ah ah did you read it Jodi??? There are so many errors in your letter in grammar, sentence structure, etc. She is plain ol' average. She does not want to hear that. AND I totally agree, common sense is of more value in day to day situations.

I feel like the family and friends are going on all the talk shows etc. to try and dispel all the awful things that were said about Travis. I know if someone I loved was being turned into a vile monster by someone, I would want the world to know that it wasn't true.

Wild about Trial has something set up w/ your cell phone. Text: WAT to 33733 It sets you up for verdict watch and you will get a text immediately letting you know you are set up. And when the verdict does come down you will get a text from WAT. So you can know wherever you are! No HLN dependency!!

It is being said on twitter that someone resembling juror # 16 was seen leaving the jury room and that he/she did not look pleased. They were the only juror seen leaving. Hmmmmm........

Ahahhaha, Im so dumb. I never got the whole Bert and Ernie reference to Nurmi until I was passing by the tv and the HLN guy said his name! It also dawned on me I don't think I have ever heard his name spoken out loud!

So scoring high being book smart & street smart totally different in all facets of life.
I agree, and wasn't her overall IQ 112? I'm thinking that's what was said. If so, 112 is not a high IQ. It's considered high average. They said she scored exceptionally high in verbal comprehension. Overall, she's of normal intelligence.

For comparison...and I realize some of you may not be Howard Stern fans...but he had official IQ tests done for many of his staff and members of the "wack pack". Compare Jodi to these results:

    Wendi the Retard: 61
    High Pitch Eric: 66
    Bobo: 87
    Jeff the Drunk: 89
    Eric the Midget: 90
    Steve Grillo: 99
    Will the Farter: 100
    Sal Governale: 102
    JD Harmeyer: 106
    Mike Gange: 110
    Ralph Cirella: 112
    Richard Christy: 117
    Jason Kaplan: 118
    Gary Dell'Abate & John Hein: 121
    Scott DePace: 122
    Will Murray: 130

So my point is, if you know the show, none of these people strike me as geniuses and several scored higher than Jodi.

Thanks Sneaks. HLN has said nothing about the lunch break. Was wondering if they decided to take it late, having coming in at 10am. Maybe they requested ordering lunch, working through it? It was reported yesterday that option was given to them.

I think HLN is more focused today on the 3 missing women that were found. Didn't even give an update re: the jurors' status re: lunch.

I actually like Dr. Drew. Is that bad? I feel most the ppl on there are pro Travis. I have found out a lot about Travis, and his friends that have been on and bring videos and photos and stuff. I loved Deanna. I think she is such a sweetheart and I don't think they will treat her with anything but respect. She will let us in a little bit to her relationship w/ him and more of what Travis was like. I sure wish he would have chosen her.

Coconut I thought you liked Deanna? You said the sweetest things about her and made all the women in here swoon a little after you

So is it that you don't like Dr. Drew? Out of all the shows on HLN I woulda thought that you would like his the best since he has a LOT of women on it? no?

I put out a shout out to the jury about 50 or so pages back. I really appreciate them taking their civic duty seriously unlike a lot of jury's we have seen in the past.

I took a gander at the JAII site and there is a huge thread about Napolian. Why didn't anyone see puppy poop?? TA was supposed to be gone on vacation. About the smell, bathrooms are used to smells. With the bedroom door shut it wouldn't smell until the door was opened.

I'm a woman. I don't have pictures of myself but I'd like to think I'm as least as attractive as Donovan. Typing takes me a long time because of my MS, otherwise I'd say a lot more about the murderess.

I read that as coconut wanting to protect her. Maybe I misread it but I'm hoping thats how it was.

I'm super protective of her as well. I really believe that she (and most of the other friends/family) of Travis just want to get the truth out there. They just want to let everyone know how he really was - not the vial lies Jodi spews out of her pie hole.

If they do come back with M2 or hung jury, I can't imagine how much regret they will have when they see all that we have seen everywhere that was hidden from then during trial. I wish they knew more. I know they will have certainly disappointed us if they have M2. I wonder if a mis trial wouldn't be better because she is not going to have jurors anywhere that don't know her whole story. But then I think about the cost of a new trial . . . ugh! I dunno. Just hard not knowing.

What Nurmi TRIED to do to her. Instead, what happened was we all got to see what a lovely and brave and loyal friend that she was and is, to Travis. I felt a warm place, inside, knowing that Napolean is in her care. She will conduct herself, with her head held high, no matter where she goes.
