Just one little discordant note about Faq's, Poppy's and my visit to the courthouse yesterday. At the end of the day, after the Jury had left, we were standing outside at the top of the stairs leading to the courthouse entrance. A few functionaries, a few middle-aged guys who I'd seen up on the fifth floor accompanying the jury members to the elevators, came out of the building. They glanced over at the group of people standing around observing the HLN interviewers and one of them uttered, "Looks like the circus has come to town." I don't think I was excluded from his observation. Thought to myself, "What a dork!" He serves the institution and has apparently forgotten that it is the People's Justice and they have come to that place to see that it is done. They are not circus performers and he is not a ringmaster. He's a public servant.

"Justice must not only be done, it must be seen to be done."

Hope this guy reads this and gives himself a little knock upside the head.

Heading back down there this morning to continue the vigil. Will keep all of you in mind.

I am feeling pretty confident it will be today. The fact they will not arrive till 11:30am says a lot IMO. These jurors quit lunch early to get back to deliberations yesterday. They would probably plan on starting on time every day until their job is complete. Today is the day. And feeling pretty confident in the unanimous M1 vote. (otherwise they would take longer to convene.)

It's her account. I had my doubts too, but when Juan mentioned it in court- that was all I needed. Donavan Bering picked out the picture. This will come back to bite her in the ass if she's convicted of M1.

Faq, Poppy and I agreed. Furthermore, we have more credibility 'cause Faq and I declined the offer to appear on the HLN Mock Jury. So there!
Yes, the more I think about it, the more I realize that they're probably trying not to get kicked off. At this point, they must be looking at each other thinking 'who's next?'. I hope we have a verdict this morning!

Thank you so much for sharing that with us. It is well done and dignified. Gives a whole new perspective to the job these men (EF and JM) have been doing on behalf of Travis and his family.

I might be able to take some time, depends on what day. Even if the verdict is read, wouldn't mind meeting up for a beer or whatever.

I had a reality check and totally lost it during the hearing about the eye photo. When TA's family was sitting behind Stabby in the jury seats, their reaction brought me to tears. I don't cry easily, and for some reason that day I couldn't stop. Sometimes the emotion comes so unexpectedly, and it is usually in the form of frustration, anger, or rage for me. That video is a great tribute to Travis and the men who are fighting on his behalf to put his killer on Death Row.

I can't quote as I'm on my phone, but thank you for sharing that tribute from Detective Flores's daughter. Made me bawl like a baby.

Praying for the ONLY just verdict to be handed down today... My two cents on the jury is this; #1, I hate that the media is saying they've had this case for 2 days. They had it for an HOUR on Friday, so yesterday was really day #1. #2, I think they spent yesterday talking about Stabby and how horrible the murder was, bitching about the defense or court hours or the fact this circus lasted over 4 months, etc. Honestly, it was their first time to be able to finally let it all out and talk about the crap they have held in all this time... Truthfully, I think they know they are going M1 but needed to talk and vent about all of it, a luxury they haven't had AT ALL for 4 months.

I'm praying for that anyway! Verdict today, please...would love to see sweet Steven have a great birthday today.

I can't even eat at Arby's anymore becuz of this damn trial. Some wiseass referred to Hodi's lady parts as a roast beef sandwich. I don't think a lobotomy will be enough to scrape that image from my brain. She deserves M1 just for ruining some of my favorite foods. The skanky bitch!!!
