It's atrocious how American prisons are so 'pleasant' for convicted criminals. I wish arias would be sent to a prison that makes a soviet gulag look like a resort. No verdict yet makes me nervous-- hope for the death penalty or lwop.

Swedish prisons are known for their "posh" amenities. Saddam Hussein actually requested that he serve his sentence there. They send prisoners on cruises because they might be stressed out (I'm not kidding) and ski trips. Sentences are very light....but they also have very little serious crime. Let's be thankful that at the very least, she won't be taking any cruises or hitting the slopes!!

So there was no blood for the gunshot wound to bleed, but there was blood for the other earlier wounds to bleed? All of this after he completely bled out on the carpet after the throat slash? There should have been no blood left in his circulatory system after that. Plus there were a few minutes after the stab wounds, before he was placed in the shower, for those wounds to start clotting. How can stab wounds a few minutes old in a man who has no blood, still bleed?

I've never seen more than an order from the court for the jail to transport her to some Optical center. There's never been anything to indicate if in fact she needed rx glasses, how many (other than her lying mouth presenting it in her usual loop hole ways). There are approx. 1-1/2 GALLONS of blood in he human body. That's alot of blood. It makes sense that there would be a good amount of blood that drained from Travis' body once he was shoved into the shower. Even if JA "washed him off", his body would still lose the remainder of blood within.

I am surprised that the prosecution didn't get an expert on the stand to show the projection of the bullet. To me it seems like the only way for the bullet to end up in his cheek is for her to have shot it between a 45 and 60 degree angle pointing down. And that would totally discredit her linebacker story. Bullets go straight unless reflected by something, and I guess it could by the back of the skull but it seems unlikely. I know the brain was too mushy to show the path, but except in the JFK shooting, bullets are some what predictable.

Yep. Sneakerz posted a link for a television interview Jodi did in jail awhile back. When the guy showed up with his camera crew her 'podmates', (6 prisoners) all held up handmade "free Jodi" signs, and talked about how much they loved her and she was just defending herself and could have been the one who ended up dead, and how she always had a smile on her face. The guy who interviewed her was quite taken with her as well, he thought she should take the stand because she would make a good impression on the jury. (The interview was from just before the trial started.)

My nutty friend, he was turning to liquid, from the inside out. Think an Ebola or Lassa type thing (viral attack on living body) vs. natural bacteria working on dead tissue. If his body had been out in the elements, he would have quickly become a skeleton because there would have been additional insects and animals that would have also destroyed the tissue. If she is on death row, there will be little to no contact with other inmates. (I'm hoping for none, but the couple hours of exercise each week may or may not be solitary). But at least 97% of her time would be spent all alone. Meals in her cell. No visits with human contact allowed. And if the exercise time is also solitary, then she will spend 100% of her time alone. That would be just.
