JVM just retweeted someone who said that errors on the jury instructions are the number one grounds for appealing a conviction.

I wonder what kind of errors there would be. Do the instructions vary so much from trial to trial (for the same offense, I mean)

JVM is surrounded by many chubby and fat white women. I believe she is scouting for a new girlfriend.

One would think Alyce Laviolette would have figured that out but she couldn't see past St. Jodi's act. The more I think about the absolute and utter bullshit that woman spewed on the stand the madder I get!

Seriously, Stabby is beyond outlandish and ridiculous. She didn't have two red cents for a lawyer. She had her f*cking car repo'd, she was living in that little house with her Grandparents. Love to know who she ripped off for her "road trip" expenses.

This deliberation has gone on much longer than I imagined it would. The only thing I keep thinking is there are 1 or 2 fucking fucktards on the jury. God, I hope they come back with M1.

It took one week for the jurors to convict Scott Peterson and his was 1st degree. Isn't he on death row too?

Turned out, there was room for doubt here and there. JA convicted herself more than the State convicted her. MHO
So was there some fiber evidence that they didn't collect because it wasn't important to them? or they missed something?

Yep he sure his. But if this jury only has to decide if she is either guilty or not guilty that shouldn't take too long.

They didn't have nearly any of the evidence they have in this case.

He sure is, the nasty little bastard! I saw his more recent mug shots, on MSN a few months ago. He looks terrible.....very gaunt. I'm kind of hoping that we get to see Jodi in a similar situation.

Back safe and sound on the top of my 'drizzly little Island's' Capital City (Edinburgh), and haven't missed the verdict! Mega Chuffed! Hope you're home now too MM9? Looking unlikely that there will be a verdict today huh?

Well good! Probably means they are not taking this lightly, not that I ever thought they were! I've never served on a jury, and wouldn't find myself in a Death Penalty case of course, but the responsibility must feel huge. I know if it was me, and I had an impression of a verdict as the trial progressed, I would still want to be very, very, thorough! Cross all the t's and dot all the i's! This case has been a lot of time out of these jurors lives, and an extensive investment of their time, and selves! Just hope they get it right!

It's relatively dead up here in the lobby. No attorneys, TA family, no one to speak of except for media. I have heard that the attorneys will only be present when a verdict is reached.

I wrote a message to Chauncy, a while back, when he and I got off to a bad start. And I must say, he was very cordial. I appreciated that.

That's what I just saw on Twitter. They are all close by and when the verdict is reached, they have an hour or so to come to the courthouse.

Me too. I am really impatient. This is torture. I'm getting nervous it's taking this long.

The jury took 2 1/2 hours for the guilt phase of Wendy Andriano case.... This is taking WAY too long!

Can the jury decide to stay later to deliberate? I know in many cases, the jury will deliberate for longer hours if they feel they are making headway. If so, I hope it's a late night!!

The jury have been impressive so far asking some intelligent questions. Can America another shock verdict?

As for Edinburgh, sure it can be a tad 'drizzly' but it is also very beautiful and a lot if fun. Don't forget the biting wind from the east that cuts your body in half as you emerge from Waverley Station.
