My ex was a FBI certified firearms instructor and a national falling plates champion for his SWAT team back in the day - we always wore hearing protection when target shooting in situation - indoors or out...

I don't think it was ever stated definitively. But, here's what I noted:

Exhibits 56, 57, 268 & 269 are pictures of the fiber found on the stairs and marked as evidence Item # 43.

Exhibits 78, 80, 265, & 266 are pictures of a fiber found in the bathroom, marked as evidence Item #3.

Exhibits 270 & 271 are pictures of another fiber found in the bathroom, marked as Item #8.

Exhibit 63 is a photo of the pillows on the chair in Travis's bedroom. The fringe has fibers similar to Item #3 found in the bathroom.

Exhibit 68 is a photo of Travis's flipflops in his bedroom. The flipflops have fibers similar to Item #43 on the stairs and Item #8 in the bathroom.

I can't remember if the similarities noted were my own thoughts or what was said in testimony. I can go listen to it again if others think this is wrong.

And Judge Karen on HLN said specifically that the prosecution turned down a murder 1 life sentence. They want the death penalty. I don't remember that offer.

Oops. Explained that REALLY badly. Don't worry, either do I. I wasn't limiting the gun retrieval to the minute & whatever of the attack. Was there really a door from the bathroom to enter the other end of the closet? Whether yes or no, it COULD 've been as the simple as "oh, I'll just get you a towel" & she comes back with a gun. I havn't spent much time analysing the shower photos, so most people here are easily more knowledgable than me, but the sitting photos strike me as unusual, & that blurry face shot (standing)looks (to me) like a person suddenly shocked or surprised, whether that's because he thought he was alone or because he had already seen a gun, we'll never know. But no, I don't believe she ran for the gun with him hot on her heels either. I'm not strongly attached to any theory, because there have been a lot of good ones & even those could all be wrong.

Except there is a linen closet inside the bathroom.

A small caliber long gun makes significantly less noise than a handgun. Not sure what kind you're referring to, but I have a .22 pistol that is almost as loud as my husband's .40.

A .22 rifle is more like a firecracker in terms of noise...

well all the autopsy pics have been circulated around the internet for months. Mike posted that one that is on that twitter page a couple months ago. And you don't have to be a member to view. Even if you did, it would be hard to tell who took that pic.

Thanks, Sheesh. That was a great interview. It can't be coincidence that many of us think she was blackmailing him with that ridiculous sex tape. I find it interesting that she was going to "see a lawyer". Wonder if it was a PPL lawyer. Ugh. She makes me sick.

This is exactly what I hope the jury can focus on if any of them are unsure about her planning to murder him. JM's outline of what constitutes premeditated murder uses the slit throat as a clear indication that she intended to kill him. Premeditation was formed just before she slit his throat in a purposeful, precise manner.
