I know a lot of people were saying it was used to tape the knife to her body so she'd have it in the shower. That makes me wonder if tests were run on the back of the tape to determine whose DNA was on it.
Anyone know if the contents of those emails will be made available to the jury during sentencing?

How do we know when the jury reaches a verdict?

Of course it has been a living hell. I had to bury my younger sister after a car accident took her life by a drunk driver and it left me in a hospital for three months with severe injuries including 2 broken legs, broken ribs, dislocated shoulder. It was the worst time in my life. Being wheeled from a medical transportation van to the graveside was gut wrenching beyond belief. An emptiness in my heart that can never be replaced. EVER.....I had to watch her young children grief stricken and lost. But you know she was such a wonderful spiritual woman and I know she was there with us asking us to lift our spirits to heaven for answers. I could feel her there saying....Come on gigi, where is that smile of yours? Please don't give up. Be strong. During my 3 months in the hospital as I slowly recovered the physical therapists were so impressed with my spirit despite my injuries, they would wheel me room to room to share a positive spirit and ease their pain. And by golly, guess what???? Yep I would laugh. Not laugh at her or the pig that drove right into us violently and walked away. Yes, we were able to find humor in our everyday life and if it weren't for our ability to smile, pray and continue with life the way my sister would have wanted us (and the Lord). I didn't find humor in seeing my sister sprawled on the side of the road, but I was able to move on and that sometimes have made for some fond memories of my sister as we shared stories about the funny things she did or said. I wouold guess the Alexanders are the same way.
Rest in peace lil sis. Iyou
I have an appointment at the DMV , probably too much to hope that they have wifi
Its going to be a good week here in AZ. It will work out, we just have to wait for the verdict to come out. It could be worse, we could be members of the JAII site!

I am nervous and excited about getting the verdict. But also cannot wait to see how Killer will react,
I hadn't seen some of those autopsy pictures before. So sad. Really hope Jodi suffers in the coming years - but somehow I have a feeling she'll be just fine, never once feeling bad about what she did to Travis and his family.
Wasn't able to get on here on Friday due to issues with the site, I guess. I had perfect timing that day - - tuned in to watch the live stream right has Nurmi was speaking the last sentence of his closing arguments! So I avoided Nurmi and yet didn't miss any of JM's response.
Instead of watching Nurmi, I decided to transcribe JM's closing arguments, just for kicks (I'm weird that way). Ended up being 60 pages long. I'm just amazed his voice held out talking that long. Seeing his words in writing actually made me appreciate his closing more. Yes, he mixed up his words a few times, but that's to be expected when speaking for so long. The only part I didn't really like was his reference to Travis's "rainbow". He did a stellar job.
As for Nurmi, I heard about him saying that 9 times out of 10 he doesn't like Jodi. Is that maybe strategy to help her toward an appeal?
I am sure she was getting ready to strike but probably had not yet got her nerve up.
^this^!!!
I have often thought that she probably DID have to get up the nerve to carry out what she had fantasized over and over.
at one point on the stand she says: "I had never killed anyone before." To me, this sounds like a statement a serial killer in the making might utter. There always has to be a first time.

Partial truths again? She did take the gun from the shelf, because that's where she hid it. But not while she was running for her life. She did shoot first. But in anger & NOT self-defense. The shot didn't take him out. He wasn't imobilised. He came out of the shower in her direction. She was scared. But because he wasn't dead yet, this isn't what she expected, not because she felt physically threatened. She had to use the knife. But to finish what she started, not to save her own life. She can't remember, it's like a fog. Because she lost it completely when he wouldn't go down & stay in the fucking shower like he was supposed to. Not because he traumatised her?
We'll never know. & one scenario's as good as another because they ALL end at the same point. THAT we all agree on.
Ooh, yeah, I forgot I posted that. Weren't we talking about projecting waaaaay back in the thread? That was a nice little example. That lovely little outburst was more to do with what was happening on my front lawn 5 mins earlier than what was going on in the thread. The schoolkid comment's the give away. Will hunt the post down & fix it. Sorry guys. It would be incredibly hypocritical of me to complain about someone telling me to shut up & then not cop to this. Point very much taken.
