He also said that the crime scene shows Alexander getting up after the gunshot and looking in the mirror, coughing up blood before staggering down the hallway where she jumps him and finishes him off.

Those are his words people. Alexander's friend. What do you think about that?

So I guess I was wrong about a person surviving a gunshot wound to the head and still being able to function. Nope.

For those of you who were in a Nurmi induced coma or self medicated either by alcohol or some really great drugs or simply just couldn't listen to the continuing character assassination of Travis Alexander today I thought I'd summarize his closing argument:

I think the friend doc's theory is worse than the state's! It seems like a more violent painful attack.

Meh, I'm gonna have to disagree with that doctor guy. My BF is Spec Ops. and his best friend is a medic with battlefield experience in Afghanistan and Iraq. With a chest wound such as Travis had, he absolutely would've been coughing and spitting blood.

It was proven she went to his home to kill him and her multitude of lies are meaningless. She provided three separate wounds that each would have been fatal. I think the lies that she made up about the physical/sexual abuse are heinous. She is a waste of life. The skank deserves the death penalty but unfortunately she'll probably only get life without parole. The world will be a better place without her.

What an eloquent way for Juan to end this long, long circus of a trial. It brought tears to my eyes.

Here's hoping the bell tolls for Jodi.

Nope. I've thought this was the case for quite some time now. Gun got stuck after first shot (pieces of truth in her ninja story)...and he stumbles over to the sink...coughs...she goes and gets the knife...starts knifing him in the back...he turns around to run away...she chases..he collapses..she finishes him off.

The only piece of evidence that doesn't fit that theory for me is the bullet...maybe she picked it up though to take with her and it was accidentally dropped in the blood in her rush out? I don't know...

Who is this doctor guy and what did he say?

Jurors / people in general like to believe cold killers just 'snap'. We've seen it in posters that want to consider it. Jurors aren't always the brightest bulbs in the pack. One talked about the case, one was a drunk. There's nothing to say there aren't more idiots left.

I think if Travis leaned over the sink after being shot, coughing and spitting blood so he could clear his airway and breath, then Jodi Arias had time to run out of the bathroom, out of the house and seek help. She didn't run. She chose to picked up a knife instead and slaughter him. That's premeditation. She wanted Travis dead.

Yes. That is what I fear. A stupid jury. Just hoping the idiots are already gone (5 and 8). I'm actually dreading Monday. Anything less than M 1 would be devastating.

I worry! And I think there is at least one that has been watching TV or internet. The one that asked Goofner about 'public accusation.. on a large scale' If they aren't watching TV or searching the internet, how would they know?

God help us if they are watching HLN!

Not in the least. Her intent was the same either way, but the way I outlined makes more sense to me. I just CAN'T see her, being so much smaller than him, starting the attack with a knife.

But like I said...the bullet bothers me...and the no hemorrhaging in the brain speaks against it I guess. I don't know.

    But yeah..fry her.

I had a tough time with the thread today, so I am glad to see a few of you tonight!

For the past few days, Stabby seems even more bizarre than usual. Medicated?

    Anyone?
