This is such a great post as it points out how difficult it is to commit a perfect murder. Arias is not as smart as she clearly thought she was. She highlighted her lies early in the interrogation tapes. She offered red flag points to Detective Flores on a plate - declaring way too early how she could prove she wasn't in Arizona, mentioning her gas receipts, if I remember correctly. Arias has around average intelligence in my opinion but she has higher verbal skills. Her immaturity and arrogance made her over estimate her murder planning abilities. You have to be much smarter than Arias to committee a perfect murder... or luckier, or plan better.

He's distorting something Travis allegedly uttered during the infamous May 10, 2008, phone sex conversation that Jodi recorded. I think Nurmi said, "pop the cork of a little girl."
