Love the state's "covert" operation that Nurm is now telling us she couldn't do because (unlike James Bond - my example) she left a paper trail for a rental car, and gas???......and blah blah blah....she had to use credit since she didn't have enough money/cash.

He whines more than my students do!! OMG!

Is it super slow here or is it me?

Nurmi, she left all those trails, because that's just what nasty hookers do. Like a snail, or a slug, leaving their slimy dripping tracks everywhere they slither. *ewww, shudders* And her I.Q. doesn't change the fact that she's a stupid, ignorant, arrogant, inexperienced liar, who was a little too confident that she'd just lie her way out of it and smile and flirt with whoever questioned her. Over confidence, and inexperience with masacres makes for sloppy planning that lubes her snail-trail-vagina.

I present the lyrics of, "Reptile" by NIN:

she spread herself wide open to let the insects in
she leaves a trail of honey to show me where she's been
she has the blood of reptile just underneath her skin
seeds from a thousand others drip down from within

    oh my beautiful liar
    oh my precious whore
    my disease my infection
    I am so impure

    get it

devils speak of the ways in which she'll manifest
angels bleed from the tainted touch of my caress
need to contaminate to alleviate this loneliness
I now know the depths I reach are limitless

    oh my beautiful liar
    oh my precious whore
    my disease my infection
    I am so impure

I might disagree with everything Nurmi says, but honestly, he's not doing bad.

I'd propose we all take a shot every time that Nurmi said "covert mission" but we'd all be dead of alcohol poisoning within the hour.

well i am not gonna complain that nurmi missed the mark - but - it wasn't as much a "covert mission" as it was setting up an alibi - if all of these transactions nurmi is pointing out were in arizona and not calfornia, then he might have a point

So because this wasnt a perfect murder means it wasnt a "covert mission?"

She making all these stops meeting up with people because she wanted to appear "normal" like everything was ok, DUH

I think he's doing terribly. Especially when you consider that he's saying things that can be easily disproven by Martinez. Like Nurmi saying that Jodi never said she returned the gas can to the same Walmart. Several people here have already posted the video proving that is exactly what she said. Nurmi telling bald-faced lies to the jury is not a sign of hi doing well, imo.

Site is lagging. I was trying to post this about 10 minutes ago.

This is a color chart. The earlier highlighted pictures look like Arias was in the range of a 6-7. The pictures from June 3rd obviously show her at the very least a 4, and more like a 3N. 1 is about the darkest you can get.

OMG, I think I could make a convincing rebuttal to Nurmi and I have fuckall for legal experience.

Why didn't Jodi shoot him at the computer? Uhh perhaps it was because his roommate was home and in the house? Perhaps because if the shot didn't kill him, he could've ran outside -- fully dressed -- and call for help. You know, unlike when he was naked and trapped in a shower stall when she actually attacked him.

    This is truly pathetic.

Did he honestly just say that the defense never told them that there was pornography. Meanwhile when asking witnesses the name of the videos (Bigger, Harder, Faster) he was insinuating that it was porn on many occasions. Wow, just wow.

I don't think Nurmi is doing that bad of a job. If there's a juror who is undecided he may just able to sway them. I'm not pro-defence by any means but I'm not going to bash him. Aside from the Walmart comment which was untrue.

Nurmi is working on creating resonable doubt in the prosecution case of planned out in May. Nurmi missed on the stolen gun theory. The way it was stolen is exactly the way one would do it. Steal the gun, some cash, another item soch as a stereo. Make it look like it was a randon burglary. His atttempt to say, 'take it kill and put it back undetected' is not going to fly. The gun must disappear.

On the red car, hes' correct. It's a red POS not a red corvette. No cop cares about your red POS.

On paying with cash, he is correct. Instead she left a paper trail

On stopping to see other people, on the way, he is correct. another trail.

Hit on the license plate. The prosecution theory of an upside down plate was dumb. If you want to be undetected, the plate must be on correctly. Not even the dumbest of the dumb would put it on upside down and drive around.

The guy is doing the best one could expect given the hole he is sitting in.

Nurmi said "talk about it later" at least 6 times so far. Ugh. Prepping everybody with what's to come is almost as bad as listening to him now. His tone is so fucking annoying.

Ugh. Nurmi is really bad at this. Turning his back to the jury, etc.

But what's really dumb is him lying to jury about the gas can return. It's one thing to have the defendant lie to the jury but when the defense lawyer lies...

Nurmi is doing a good job, here.

A little bit of diversionary tricks, but he's winning some points against theories Juan put out there.

Remember, all he's trying to do is save her life.

[QUOTE=Iluvsam;3408981]I knew they were going to say it was another walmart!!![/QUOTE

I wished JM had played that part where she said she returned the gas can to the same store, and it would totally surprise he if he found she did not. I hope the jury recalls this from all the BS that the defense is throwing up. She lied to jurors - so they cannot believe why and how she killed Travis. IMO

I have to disagree. He's implying the jury is stupid. His condescending statements about how they should come to these obvious conclusions would piss me the f*ck off.
