One other observation during this trial. I thought that Jennifer always sat unnaturally close to JA. It was very strange.
And she (jennifer) always looked very hard at the graphic photos of Travis but Nurmi did not.

I apologize for not being able to quote as I am on mobile, but I wanted to add to the lack of death drugs. Many appeals have been filed on how the death penalty is carried out. The appeals claim that by using these drugs, it becomes cruel and unusual punishment. The US is fairly unique in that we carry out the DP and we are a Western country. A lot of organizations have gotten in on this appeal (Amnesty International, for one) and there is a lot of global support for abolishing the DP.
I am not an expert on this and I certainly don't want to argue the merits of the DP, but the drugs they use have come under lots of fire. Like it or not, executions have been carried out on innocent people and there are many on death row who shouldn't be there. It isn't like you call do-over on someone who was executed and this is one reason why the appeals process is so long. Many states are moving toward a different option (ie 2 drugs instead of 3) and I believe this will easily rectify this situation.
No matter what, when the DP is carried out, it is FAR more humane than what murder victims suffer.
I am with most folks on this forum, when I say that I want Stabby to receive the DP, but not because I have an overwhelming urge to see her die. I want her to sit on death row where she can rot.
If Arizona runs out of drugs, borrow some from Texas because they carry out the DP on a regular basis!

I think she was both. Remember that Jodi cleaned herself up. She got in that shower and showered off. Calm.

I also think Travis's body emitted an expired sound that startled her as she was moving him back to the shower, and that's why she shot him.

A gunshot indoors is loud as sh!t. I think that startled her and she got the heck out of there quickly after that. Frantic.

Juan Martinez says she planned the murder starting on May 26th.

Her mom, aunt, brother, and grandmother sit behind her and to the left along with donovan her only friend in the world. We arent feeling any kind of fear. They don't sense evil in the woman in front of them. It's not rage or murderous lust. its blankness, a horrible nothing. A wall has fallen. There is nothing behind it. In this moment we know. Jodi is not Jodi. We never knew her, it is because there is nothing to know.

Beautifully captured the nothingness that resides inside someone with her profile.

There is a drug shortage of one of the 3 injections used for lethal injection. It was talked about I believe on HLN early in trial, and discussed in the old thread. I didn't do much of a google search to find where it states AZ only has one dose left, but I found this.
