Falling down is a part of skateboarding as toilet paper wipes are a part of pooping, and falling down with tools, especially a huge screwdriver in your pocket to skewer your buttocks when you miss that flippy-trick won't keep you riding skateboards for very long. Even those multi-tools made for skateboards aren't carried around while out and about. They just don't need to.
Thank you for this interesting insight, MISFIT, I truly appreciate hearing it from a skateboarder point of view.

I also have a question for you, if I may:
I can believe that skateboarders might mess with someone's license plate, perhaps even remove it, because they thought it would be funny, or anarchistic, etc, but would they ever unscrew someone's license plate, remove it, flip it over, and screw it back on upside down? What would be the point of that? That whole concept seems so unbelievable to me, so I would be interested in your insights.

Exactly! I have watched Nurmi and PARTICULARLY JW roll her eyes, shake her head, grin and laugh when the judge has spoken or ruled. When the prosecutor is doing his work. When a witness says something she doesn't agree with. That is not behavior that is becoming of a defense attorney who is attempting to prove the innocence of her client, and in keeping with a respect that is due to the court and prosecutor and judge and jury. When they do this, it is a direct insult to the jury. It is THEIR job to decide what is and isn't credible....not Jenny's.

I think I'm more nervous than she is! I am just scared that there will be an idiot on the jury who will eff everything up. Pease, don't let that happen.

Absolutely. Juan Martinez highlighted her duplicity, faking coy or prim under Defense questioning then smirking about sex and relishing it when JM crossed. How appropriate that the immature bint emphasised his point by laughing. The two hands needed for phone sex nonsense was almost as stupid a lie as the rope cutting pantomime. Even now, under the gaze of the jury, her infantile behaviour cannot be contained.

Also, messing with someones license plate(s) is like the worst prank ever. You won't get to see the fruits of your labor, and it's hard work, getting down all low to the ground, on hot asphalt, and those screws are usually pretty hard to turn just from being weathered by the weather. A high probability of getting caught, especially at a stop-and-go type of establishment, like a Strawberry StarBucks, where the owner/driver of the vehicle could come out and catch you mucking with his/her car at any second.

It's a highly unlikely scenario, "dont'cha know??" <<< said in my best, Juan Martinez impersonation :)

Juan is really going through ALL the details, and we're only in Pasadena right now. I'm bracing myself for some SERIOUS EMOTIONAL DISTRESS as he describes the GRUESOME events forthcoming. Oh, man, I don't know if I'll be able to take it. It's going to be the most vicariously painful experience I've ever had, I bet. I really think these next few hours of Juan's statement is going to change me forever. He'll describe it like I was there. This isn't no movie, either. This is the real deal. The "light" of truth, as my main-man, Juan, would say.

There will be more tears shed in real time today for the murder of one (1) man than ever before. It's not like 9/11 or Katrina, where a lot of people died. All these tears that will flood the internet airwaves will be for Travis (and his family, friends, dog, etc.).

I have a feeling this is going to drain me of everything and I'll go to bed exhausted, and I'm not even there. This can't be healthy. It's really none of my business, and I'm invading poor Travis's privacy for my own "entertainment" and that makes me feel even worse. It's too late, I can't stop now. I'm about to catch that dragon I've been chasing. The pre-climax is here. I'm strapped in, and the ride is cresting that first drop. I'm helpless and holding on for dear life. FML.

My son was a skateboarder, with his own posse, too! LOL And I agree......he didn't skate with anything in his pockets. They all have the tools for changing wheels, making adjustments, etc....but keep those at home or in their car. It's not like they are skateboarding cross country, or anything.

She is going to get the shock of her life. It will be hilarious.

Just curious, could the defense team eat with her whenever she wants? As part of a right to client/lawyer meeting? I always figured that she could call the shots in this regard...kindof like they work for her. Not that they'd want to eat with her every day, but I was wondering if she could request a *business* lunch with them, particularly since she's had to sit and listen to Juan rip her a new one all morning and I'm sure she's dying to talk with her team ~ if for nothing else but a little (false) reassurance.

Actually, my dell laptop has both a delete AND a backspace key. I don't understand your arguments of the last few days....they go against the grain of the intelligent person I know as Coconut. You and I rarely have the same opinion, but I have always had respect for your views. Lately, all you seem to do is spew swears and insults at the state and it's witnesses. Sadly, that makes me discount if this crap is even coming from YOU.....and it's not anything I can respect, no matter.

Scroll past it. If people don't like something, scroll scroll scroll. Commenting and posting these "people, can we stop..." just adds another crap message that NONE of us want to see.

We were just discussing that and it really, really beggers belief!!!! Does anyone think Jen & Nurmi tell her this as well? Or maybe they believe that too?
