I am surprised at how tentative Juan seems, I think he is nervous. His case fell apart a little bit yesterday. Second degree murder is going to be very embarrassing for his office.

I thought Martinez was much more articulate than this. He is not synthesizing the information very well for the jury.

FYI: Felony Murder is included under Burglary, because Stabby remained 'unlawfully' in TA's home, after she began stabbing him. JM asserted that if TA could have expressed his desire to leave his residence at that point (during stabby stabbing), the court can assume that he would have.

I don't think Juan is that great of an attorney. But as far as this argument he is doing okay so far. It was a 5 month trial with lots of bogus info presented. The jury won't mind listening to a closing argument even if its an hour long. That will seem like minutes to them after the dr alyce debacle.
