Beautiful little aside about the double negative from Juan Martinez. Followed by a crushing of Dr G's testimony into a fine powder. He is beginning to sound like ALV... now he knows nothing and can't answer anything. At least his manner is more agreeable than the dreadful ALV but his 'expertise' looks worthless. Nurmi looks like he wishes he was on the prosecution team.

Enough of this bumbling, stumbling guy now. Juan Martinez was very patient with him when he spilled the water and scored on the consideration front. The jury must be tired of these objections. Doesn't the judge sound weary of Willmott's interjections?

My question is what is the difference between JAIL and PRISON??????

Jail is where people serve their sentence for a misdemeanor crime. Prison is where people serve their sentence for a felony crime.

Jail is where the accused are held until they are convicted, IF they cannot afford bail. Sometimes, they can be held without bail though.

If Jodi is found guilty of a felony (murder), she will be transported to Prison, where it's more of a long term affair, and MUCH easier to do the time. Long term facilities (prison), let inmates get REALLY comfortable, conjugal visits, televisions, lots of freedom, and some prisons let inmates have pet cats! They get all sorts of personal belongings and they have relationships, do drugs, party, etc. It's a crazy society where some Correction Officers will take bribes (money or sex) to look the other way about certain things.

Jail is "short term" usually up to a year, and since it also holds all the suspects, there's a lot more turn-over, people coming and going. You don't build life-long relationships/friendships so much, and you get less comforts/amenities.

If I were to commit a crime and get caught and convicted, I would much prefer to do that time in Prison, personally. Hope that shed some light on your question.

Why is it that someone like Deanna Reid can maintain her composure even under the most difficult of situations, probably having never ever testified in court before but the defense's "experts" can't keep their composure for 5 minutes under cross examination?

Because she had faith in what she was testifying to....she was telling the Gods honest truth. For no other compensation or purpose beyond wanting justice for a man she obviously respects.
