I have not seen this judge EVER deny Jenny an 'approach'. Is this an ability the judge has?

One of the defense's problems is that they picked people who have many years of clinical experience, but who don't seem to translate well on the stand. It's surprising because they all seem to have had previous court experiences. So, it just seems as though they all have this set way of thinking, with no leeway. They can't deal with someone challenging their ideas and pointing out their flaws.

Possibly, these witnesses looked good on paper, because of their years on the job, but it's not working in practice. Dr. DeMarte didn't have decades of experience, but she was more thorough and confident in her work and I think it showed on the stand.

I agree....this guy seems far more genuine in his testimony. I think he is answering honestly. And JM is asking the right questions that clarify and display the limitations of what his "expertise" is. JM is keeping the questions and answers on a straight path. He is not allowing for any deviation beyond the basic answer he needs the jury to hear. Unlike the DT, he does not want to drag this out. Good move. And as nice as the doctor seems, his testimony needs to be discredited for the state's benefit.

The judge has denied jenny's approaches before. Not sure if she has done it more than once, but she did do it one time.

I should say that I do find Dr. Geffner likable, even personable, and not combative like LaViolette and Samuels. What I don't like is that he is so obviously a shill for the defense, or a "hired gun" as has been stated. It's problematic for me that the defense pulled him out of thin air -- probably because he has decades of clinical experience -- and then thrust him onto the stand to testify about and diagnose a person he had not even met (Jodi).

I think it's a bad move on his part.

I think he actually might be a nice guy in normal life. He is nervous, but one does know when a burp THAT LONG is coming to cover it and not do it in the mic. lol But otherwise the only bad thing about him is he is there for Stabby. He's not making money off it either, which is good. Oh well. Just my opinion.

I think JA' s abandonment issues are kicking in today with all of the sidebars .. plus the turnout for TA' s family is huge today

I saw that. She's not a happy camper. She seems to know it isn't going well for her or her witness at this point. Just not sure she actually understands just how bad.

Juan's "sure, let me show it to you" sounds so much fucking better than Jenny's snotty "well, let's take a look at it anyway"

I sincerely wonder if Jodi seriously thinks, she's going to walk out of there a free woman. To be a maggot in her brain.

I wonder if Jodi treated people in jail differently thinking she was going to be found not guilty, than how she wouldve if she knew she'd get the DP or LWOP? Promises made, etc... She always plans on things going her way; too damn narsicistic to feel the need for a plan B.

It's gunna be longer than that! Unless the DP gets carried out before that.

But she is involved with a woman now. So I guess she doesn't mind being a carpet munching.
