Oh Harlette that's a tearjerker! That was more pure, true emotion than the skank has shown in this entire trial, quite possibly her entire life.

My eye has been twitching all day just from thinking about it!

That's the beauty of her whole cockamamie story. Nothing makes sense! Now Travis is a zombie or a vampire?! Who gets shot and still has anger?! Sounds like another bad movie reference to me. Has there EVER, in the HISTORY of the WORLD been a situation where someone gets shot in the head (or shot anywhere for that matter) and keeps attacking their shooter? I've heard of people that are high on LSD keep fighting, but their judgement is severely impaired. I don't even think I've heard of someone on LSD getting shot and still come after the shooter.
never do pcp then .they attack till death. So what your saying is if you were shot you would give up life? Nah no you wouldn't you would fight till there was nothing left because?...... you want to live that's why.

Getting up and moving, following a head wound, is highly unlikely.....and to do what Jodi claims he did (chasing her down, screaming at her, pursuing her) IS next to impossible. This was no mere flesh wound.
that is why the shot came at the end.

This has been such a point of contention within the trial, and I don't know if this was a story she created to avoid the DP or if she just doesn't want to cop to the stabbing. I hope that we someday will get some definitive answers, this one is a mind-bender.
get ready for "she shot him to put him out of his misery" or "she didn't want him to suffer any more pain caus he was past the point of her saving him so she shot him" They will make it look like she was doing him a favor...............watch

I can't believe you all keep the conversation going even when there's no trial...OMG, was there a lot of posts to wade through! Anyway, this one caught my eye, and I clicked over to the link. Very interesting read, and I'm curious about it, so I started looking around (not at her vag, but at her hair that day). We just saw evidence last week of Jodi's hair taken on June 3, 2008. It is attached (hope this works

A pic supposedly taken from the camera memory card shows her hair a little different on June 4, 2008...in fact if you look close, you will see a bit of blonde hair in the front (see the piece that is falling down into her eyes?

It does not look that light in the June 3rd pic....because she had supposedly just gotten it darkened. So why is it still showing a lighter orangey color on June 4th? Could it be that the memory card found in the bottom of the waster was NOT used on June 4th from a sexual tryst that happened that day, but something that Travis uploaded to his camera memory card, as the Blink on Crime author notes? Isn't that possible?

We've all been asking why did Travis allow Jodi into his home on June 4th, why did he have sex with her that day...when he knew she was a sociopath, and the worst thing that had ever happened to him? Well, maybe he didn't. Maybe she really did sneak inside that day/night.

I already posted about this too. Regardless of how ridiculous her theories may have been in the past, this time it's worryingly possible she's on to something. It's what she's onto that I'm not sure of. That camera does NOT take SD or micro SD cards according to the product description that was linked last time we discussed this. If an SD was found in the washing machine, AND there was a Sony Memory Stick IN the camera & the prosecution has unknowingly used photos from both to argue their case then surely that is a huge fuckup. One of the cards was described in testimony as a SIM card at one point. Maybe the pre-trial, private discussions got totally messed up because he was unfamiliar with the differences in storage devices? Some of you said the Detective sounded different, possibly stressed last time he testified. Maybe they'd realised there were 2 different cards & they were waiting to see if the defence had figured it out too? I'll find the original conversation & edit this post with the pg numbers.

ETA - Ok, I think it's first mention came from NC Blonde (who I will note here is sceptical as are most posters in this thread - just to minimise everyone having to repeat their disapproval & adding to this monster of a thread - I accept 99.9% of posters think there is 0% merit to any of this).

However, anyone intrigued by the apparent discrepancies & interested in seeing the camera specifications NCB linked + the parts of the discussion I managed to find can see :

pg 643, NCB's post no. 16062, mine on pg 646 no. 16138 & pg 681 no. 17016. There were more posts in response to NC's, but mostly they just made it clear how they felt & didn't discuss the detail. That was the only reason I havn't listed them all, & not because I was trying to minimise the opposition to her suggestions

    Part of premeditation:
Jodi was wearing the long pants and socks. Temp was said to be some 100 degrees that day. If it was self defense at sput of moment, she would have been dressed as most Arizonans (especially preparing for a car trip) in shorts and tank top or some version.

And not socks! Even in yreka when she was arrested she has white pants and summer top and no socks (as can be seen in head stand). And yreka is a LOT cooler than mesa. Just some thoughts.

http://www.bodyworlds.com/en/exhibit...hibitions.htmlWhy doesn't anyone think that if she wanted to kill him with a knife she could do it with one solid slash to the throat from the beginning? The stab wounds (other than the heart wound and neck wound) were shallow meaning not alot of force was put into them.If she was intent on killing him straight off 3 deep stab wounds to the chest and he's done.People have died with one wound placed correctly. This notion of her wanting to prolong this attack for her own pleasure is ludicris. She could have easily had the tides turn from offencive to defencive.Which I think happened at a point.Travis didn't just sit there and let himself get stabbed,he fought, for and with his life.No one has ever mentioned either that that maybe the heart wound came much later and the 26 other stab wounds came first in the fight .Lets think outside the box a little .He tackles her for whatever fucked up reason and she reaches over and grabs the knife and stabs him in the back multipile shallow times while he's on top of her(the stab wounds on the back are in an area not all over ,7 I believe) if he's fleeing how can she stab him in the same area as he's running? That is a hard thing to do as he's moving. She rolls to get away from him and he grabs her ankle(thus far there are no fatel wounds) she cuts his hands to get her to release his grip of her.she flees down the hall and as he is in pursuit she in one motion wields around with the throat slash dropping him.Drags him back to the bathroom and goes to get the gun in the bedroom. When she gets back he's up standing (I can't feel my legs)at the sink and as he turns around she stab's him in the heart. He's not getting up now she puts him in the shower and silences him with the gunshot. This isn't the movies folks ,Travis fought hard. It's all plausible .........think about it

Might have been conscious can mean many things. I sincerely doubt, doubt based on Dr Horns testimony and his response to the jury questions that he meant that TA could be up and chasing her around screaming "Kill You Bitch".

Her story is full of more holes than Swiss Cheese. She says her first instinct was to go for a gun that she testified she thought was unloaded? Instead of making a left and beating feet out of the house? TA was naked, I doubt he would have pursued her out to the street. She then says that after she got from under him after shooting him in the head that "she thought she heard him behind her". Then her story trails off, lost in The FOG.

Let's suppose for insane second her story was true, after she shoots him in the head (head wounds bleed a lot ) then why doesn't she take the second opportunity to leave the house? He's now naked and shot in the head.

Her story falls apart when any modicum of common sense is applied to it.

Plus she lied to the jury, multiple times

Dr Jill Hayes is an expert on malingering. It's been reported she will be allowed to testify. The prosecution gets the wordd as they have the burden of proof.

Really? Ask Gabby Giffords. She did pretty much fall down after being shot in the head and if it wasn't for the guy who rushed to her and tried to stop the bleeding she'd be dead.

The evidence is that TA tried to escape from her. Look at the number of wounds he has, defensive and other wise. Stabby ended up with a cut on her finger.

Even the fight for his life he didn't lay a hand on her that we have proof of. No way he ever raised a hand to her during their relationship. I wish he could have clocked her upside the head with his "two fists" in an attempt to escape her.

As someone mentioned, Flores may not have understood what Dr Horne told him or what was in his report.

    Thank you!

Exactly! He ambulated so much after the first stab wound she stabbed another 27 times and then slit his throat and miraculously she only had a cut on her finger. Because she freaked out by any noises by his body she then risked the noise of a gun shot to shoot him in the head.

Still waiting for the defense to explain those Can't wait to see how they address those wounds in closing...if at all.

She embellished her story beyond belief. She can't help herself. Most liars can't. They add more detail than necessary in an effort to make it more believable.

The fact that she told the jury that she thought the gun was unloaded makes it less believable as well. Like JM said "What were you going to do, throw it at him?"

BTW, what can you tell us about how BPD's deal with embarrassment? Do they feel embarrassment? When I see Stabby sitting there while the trial goes on around her, I often wonder about that.

    How to Interpret Blood Spatters

    1) Angular - If the victim was on the move, drops hit at an angle. The more oblique the impact, the longer the drop?s tail. The head points in the direction the person was traveling.

    2) High Velocity - Misty, diffuse spatter is created by external force greater than 100 feet per second ? which usually means a gunshot, an explosion, or (seriously) a sneeze.

    3) Hair Impact - A traumatic impact between head and surface tends to leave a stain with feathered edges, like someone squished a loaded paintbrush against the wall.

    4) Hair Swipe - If the smear fades out in one direction, the head was likely bloody before contact. The lightest edge of the swipe points in the direction the head was traveling.

    5) Fabric Swipe - More fluid than hair swipes, these stains sometimes display the imprint of the bloodied clothing. T-shirt weaves are often the easiest patterns to decipher.

Why don't you ask the administration to remove what you have done?

What do you mean by "later on in this thread?" Don't you mean "earlier on in this thread?" I presume you are referring to your previous post where you inserted your comments into the post you were attempting to quote. (Hint, stop using the letter 'c' where the letter 's' is called for. In relation to Sneakers statement above, which I've tried to quote properly, but probably made a balls of it, I'd just like to add my 2 pennies. I've long wondered if Stabby had decided long before she left for Yreka that she was going to kill Travis. Sure she was fucked up financially and all that. And I think she blamed him and everyone else for her fantasy life, (or should I Travis' life?) not coming true for her. So their is that financial element. But I also think that she might have moved back to Yreka simply to put distance between her self and the murder. If she'd still been living in Mesa then she would have been, without doubt, (not that there ever really was any, with the evidence collected against her) that she was the Prime Suspect. But if she was living a 1000 miles away, at least there was that distance, so to speak. At the very least, it would buy her some time.

Of course, I'm more than like than likely talking through my asshole.

Another thing I was wondering. I saw all of JM's Opening Statement for the first time earlier today. He mentioned on the night of May 28th (the date of the staged burglary at her Grandparents' house) that Stabby had sent Travis an email that night...and it was the first time there was any mention of Cancun in anything written between them (texts, emails, IM's etc). And it got me wondering...did Little Miss LovesToTalk, mention the break in to him? I mean, if she was all innocent and shit, wouldn't she have mentioned that to him? That's something "big", and most people would be telling everyone all about the break in. Just to share their "lived to tell" type tale! Something tells me she didn't. And for good reason...there was no way in hell did she want him to know that a gun had been stolen. Because at this point Travis seemed to seeing some of Stabby's true colours.

I've just got one quick question! And I'd love to if anyone here could answer: After the verdict and sentencing are done with; does Judge Sherry get to give a sort of "summation", like her thoughts on the whole thing? I'd love to hear what she really thinks of Stabby!

Anyway, sorry for the really long first post! You guys rock!!! You're so funny, and clever and insightful!!

And now I pray to Baby Jesus that it will actually post. And not up and disappear like a fart in the wind!
    Welcome!!!

Excellent post. I think you're onto something with the "burglary" not being mentioned to Travis in the email. Sure as anything she would have tried to use something like that to garner sympathy from Travis, another tool to make him feel sorry for her and not abandon her. So yes, very odd that she didn't mention it. Nice catch.

I just wanted to point out that SD stands for Secure Digital not SanDisk. The Sony memory stick looks very similar.

If you go to .43 on this video, Heather is describing the items that were in the washer as they are entered into evidence. JM calls it a SIM card (subscriber identity module), but she refers to it as a memory card. Then there is the camera and a door from the camera in another evidence bag. There's a power cord with the camera, but it wasn't taken out of the washer.

The State vs. Jodi Arias Facebook page has posted this video of Dr. Hayes, who they claim Juan Martinez is trying to call as a witness. Say it isn't so! Talk about a hired gun!
