I think I need a drink. I literally just got done discussing with a defense lawyer this week, in a Murder 1 case, during Jury selection, why personal research by a Jury is horrible - especially for the defendant.

Okay M Joy, I'm going to try it again using your instructions :)
This time I'm posting one of my videos that I have had to upload onto my other (not spraycanann) channel.
It was originally on my spraycanann channel but the Jodi-troll-patrol flagged it to death and YouTube ended up pulling it.
I didn't think YouTube ever pulled anything unless it included nudity... this video doesn't have nudity.
The only reason I can figure for YT pulling it is that I include text that says I would vote DP.
It couldn't have been pulled for using the "F" word or half of YT would get pulled... so that's all i can come up with.
Anyway, it was on my spray channel but the trolls managed to get it pulled, now it's on my Ann Stafford channel.
It is my personal favorite of all my videos.
Please don't watch if offended by "F" word.

Oh my gosh I love “Elegance”. I know these are out of my price range. It is so amazing that Jodi can create such beauty in a place like jail. I feel like I should be able to create more beauty out of my life! Not with art though, I can’t draw, but somehow. Do I own copyright in a drawing of a photo?

I have drawn a portrait in pencil of a man from a picture of the man I found on the Internet. Do I own the copyrights to sell my drawing?

This is called a “derivative work.” You own the copyright in your drawing, but there is also a copyright of the original picture that someone else owns. This is very similar to the case with the famous Barack Obama “Hope” poster where artist Shepard Fairey had the copyright to his artwork but the Associated Press owned the copyright to the original photo on which the poster was based. As with the Hope poster, legally you need to get the permission of the original artist before you can make money from your drawing.
