I am still obsessing over the fact that Juan did NOT at any time ask the ME or Flores about the entrance of that gun shot wound being at total odds with physics!!!
How in the holy hell that bullet enter his forehead and take a full on RIGHT turn and go forehead to JAW???
a charging linebacker facing a gun, gun goes off, enters forehead.... bullet would go front to back ? I am totally spazzing about this being ignored. I realize it just adds to the mountain of lies, but it defies common sense that Juan wouldn't be all over this like flies on shit... I mean really! it isn't even physically possible that that gunshot wound came as he charged her.
It is a downward back to front trajectory . the exact TOTAL opposite of her story.. BOOM. game over for me.

My only interest is seeing what another Doctor can come up with when dealing with a known liar. Not saying he is or isn't a hired voice, just saying no one can come up with a totally correct diagnosis when they are getting their information from a person who has an active habit of lying. Especially since his hands should be (by definition of surrebuttal witnesses) hog-tied by the scope of what he may testify to

JA said she arrived at 3 am then changed to 4 am. We know from phone records she didn't call him from outside the door or anywhere else at 4 am.
Last call of Jodi to TA was June 3 8:34 pm lasted 49 seconds
Wonder if he answered and then hung up on her? I still believe he had no idea she was coming. I just can't figure out for the life of me why he let her in the house (aside from sex).

She will spend day after day wearing down little golf pencils filing her own appeals.

Me too but I think it was mostly to show the jury she lied and tried to get others to lie for her as well. I think it was also a warning to the her and the defense about what would happen if Matt McCartney showed up to testify.

It was just a simple honey trap. I use my feminine wiles to lure in the juror. In a bar just like the one I'm sitting in now. I dressed provocatively and he bought me a drink. It just went from there, talking and hugging and grabbing and drinking. I made sure he got real sloppy, helped him into the car, and then called my parole officer to report the DUI in progress. They snagged him on the way home.

Alyce and Geffner are like Big Hunters. With every case presented by a defense lawyer they are sure they see Big Foot. Doesn't really matter that he doesn't exist, they will find a way to suggest/infer he does.

This is done at almost every trial. In fact, if they didn't do it, it could be grounds for appeal. I figure it will take the judge about 10 seconds to dismiss it, and there will be plenty of time to get a good table for lunch.

I think it is pretty standard to ask for Judgement of Acquittal. Laughable, especially in this case. All of yesterday's events were unrelated to each other, but HLN reporting tied them together (sigh). Court started early yesterday, so the routine sweep with the dog was picked up as related to JA trial. Now I hear J8 got a DUI and was dismissed. It is so hard to keep fact from fiction, but once I read the posts here, everything makes sense again.

And where would it have to be fired from to go from just above the left eyebrow to right cheek?

It's so much easier to visualize this looking at a picture.
This probably won't go down real well, but now that I've seen a picture, it's raised more questions for me than it's answered. I think it could possibly make sense to someone who's actually had a person charge at them like that. The one doing the charging usually doesn't want to use their head as a battering ram. They tend to start to turn their head to one side or the other as they come at you, so that it's their shoulder that hits you full centre. At the same time or very soon after they start to turn their head to the left or right, they also duck their head down slightly so that it's under the target's arms -which are usually angling up by then for protection.

& before anyone gets frustrated with my stupidity, I'm not saying "this IS how it happened". What I'm saying is if I can have that thought, so can others. A clear, concise model showing the only possible trajectory could've dealt with the issue decisively, & then the jury need waste no time having exactly this type of discussion.

I never make the suggestions I do to cause shit in the thread. It's because even if 999 people say "yep. That's sooo OBVIOUS", there's always going to person 1000 who sees the opposite. Sometimes person1000 is thoughtful & open to discussion. But sometimes they just can't grasp what everyone else has hold of, & sometimes they don't wanna let go of their version. This threads proof that you can never predict how someone else will see something. It's after midnight here again & it's always my after midnight posts that don't come out quite the way I intend, so I hope I'm explaining myself better than I did for my last few after 12am, sorry if I'm not guys, will reread it in the morning & see if I should've reconsidered after sleep (again)

Mark Eiglarsh made this point last night, she testified for soooo long and we hear so much of her through so many sources and not once did she ever say I"m sorry. It did not hit me until he said that, not to her own family, not to his, not for taking a young mans life whose only crime was that he did not love her.

Here is my opinion on them calling Dr. Geffner as a surrebuttal witness.
The defense has the right to do this and I am glad that the judge granted it because we wouldn't want this to be an appellate issue if she is convicted of M1.
I don't care whether or not other courts found the Dr. to be credible or a hired gun and here is my reasoning. We know he is a hired gun, and a last ditch effort in THIS case.
I am sure that ALV and Dr. Dick would not have looked so bad had they not got into a pissing contest with every single question from JM. I have patience and I found myself screaming "Just answer the fucking question" at the monitor. Imagine how the jury must have felt. They should have conceded some facts to the prosecution and they would not have looked like idiots (wrapped in morons). Dr. Demarte faced cross and actually answered what was asked... that is where the difference was with me. I wonder if this Dr. can face cross without dick dancing around the questions and blatantly looking biased or if this is going to be another blood pressure raising witness.

Nurmi even tried to get her to say she was sorry and the best she could come up with is "I'm ashamed".

Not "I'm Sorry". Not "I'm remorseful".

Just ashamed. Her own lawyer couldn't get her to say it.

That's one of the things that bothers me the most about her. She says she's so ashamed. She's not the kind of person who would normally do such a thing. She's embarrassed about what people think about her. When it comes to feeling sorry for WHAT she did..she's just not there. There is no remorse, only shame. She doesn't feel sad or sorry for murdering him, or causing his family excruciating pain. She believes he deserved it, and that's perfectly obvious. She has no soul.

Yeah, it's going to be tough. This thread has been a part of my life for a long time, well before I even joined or posted. I will miss everyone!

But, but...there's so many other threads? You can make your own chat threads. There's a Trayvon Martin thread. There's Shayna Hubers who's got an even wilder crazy history than Jodi! Saying her boyfriend got the nose-job he wanted after she shot him repeatedly in the face, doesn't rate even a little interest? & then there's all the missing persons cases, so, so many missing cases - Brittanee Drexel, Kara Kopetsky? You guys really aren't interested in anything but Jodi? There's so much more here!

You should at least lurk & read back through old threads. Some of them will leave you in tears. Some will have you rolling on the floor. The missing ones, especially, I think people should read if they can, because in missing cases, the more people who know, the better it is. I know it sucks when your first favourite thread ends, a few of us in here lost one very recently - but there will be others.

This is why I am not a celebrity (it has nothing to do with the fact that I am average looking and have no talent! )

I say her using the word ashamed is part of her preparation for BWS. I think she did a lot of reading and studying up on DV buzzwords prior to testifying. Her behavior in the Courtroom and blatant disregard for TA's family shows just what a despicable piece of shit she truly is. Maybe she can't help it due to BPD, but when she goes out of her way to stare at the jury or TA's family it's downright evil. She doesn't seem to have the capability to feel what we do, and that's just something I have come to accept, however distasteful it is. I have never once seen actual tears, and with such a large courtroom I don't think the jury can see that she is not actually crying. I don't think it will matter in the long run though. Any sympathy they have towards her should go out the window when they look at the autopsy pictures. I am hopeful that she will be judged on the evidence and that her attempts of manipulation will be apparent to the jury. I find solace in the way the self defense law is written. Even if a juror thinks she acted in sd, the law should make it clear that she is guilty of murder.
