Was it ever confirmed that Jodi was in Costa Rica for an exchange program?

    [QUOTE=sheesh;3400957]This is a huge point.

All recent digital cameras have a Delete All option in the menu that deletes all files from a memory card/stick (Memory Stick PRO Duo in this instance).

So Jodi only tried to delete evidence of her being at Travis' that day, leaving other photo files on the camera.

I still think she planned on taking the camera with her, but accidentally bundled it up with the sheets and threw it all in the washing machine. I can imagine her running around frantically looking for the camera.

But as it stands, in her amnesiac fog Jodi was able to attempt to delete all evidence of her being at Travis' that day. Yeah, fog

Anyone know (might have missed this?) if the Alexander's/Family/Friends are writing a book about TRAVIS? I'd buy it!

And I'm not talking about Juan Martinez asking "in your opinion, doctor, was the gun fired at Mr. Alexander coming towards the defendant like a linebacker?" I want him to put up the pic of Jodi in the linebacker pose and point with the laser pointer to where the bullet would have entered and its path in that scenario. And then take the pointer and illustrate the actual trajectory which was downward, fired from above. The jury needs a visual on this because it's a huge point and will put the final nail in the coffin of her self-defense story.

This should be a BOMBSHELL! CSI moment for Martinez. If he squanders the opportunity or rushes through it like he did with the closet shelf pic yesterday I will be very, very cranky...
I think Martinez is just planting the seeds for his closing arguments with his rebutal witnesses. Even with the hair colour pics, his questioning was short and sweet. He didn't even push any points home. I don't think he wants to say too much information and leave the door open for a full cross from the DT. It will all be tied together in his closing arguments and will hit home with the jury even more this way. No chance for KN or JW to cast much doubt.

The whole thing about Jodi now saying that Travis was obsessed with the movie 'Psycho' and wanted to re-enact it that day and "things got out of hand".... I. Just. Can't. Even.

I pray to God this jury uses common sense unlike the Pinellas 12 and sees Jodi for exactly what she is. I would LOVE to see them return a guilty verdict within hours.

Speaking of, in Arizona, do they have to decide guilt and death penalty or LWOP at the same time, or do they deliberate on the verdict first, then back to deliberate sentencing subsequent to that?

Oh and one more thing....I can't wait to hear Judge Stephens address her at sentencing.

As a forum-stalker for the last few months, I've finally registered in order note a couple of thoughts.

Every time Wilmott would say, "Let's talk about...", and she said it often, in my head I would finish the sentence with, "POP MUSIC! Talk about POP MUSIC!"

It also cracks me up that you guys have named her Stabby! For the longest time, I've used that word when I'm getting irritated/angry: "I'm gettin'/feelin' a little Stabby!"

My friend! You are right! There are lots of definitions of the term "Entertainment." It is not a word restricted to describing something fun or amusing. Entertainments also encompass things that are serious and didactic. You can't question that that is the case here. Like it or not, we've learned something new about the depths to which a person can sink. That's the theme of a lot of great art.

Seeing working women in sneakers, walking/running shoes, low heeled "comfortable" footwear on their way to work very common in the cities I've lived in, including NYC. Have yet to see any professional woman commuting to work in a pair of flip flops, bedroom slippers. Even considering the AZ climate, I would cringe seeing an attorney walk through the courthouse, onto the elevator (I'm assuming she doesn't change shoes in the hallway) in essentially, her bare feet. I think you're so right on this. I am starting to imagine JM's closing statement and its going to be spectacular. LOL
What's even better is that will be the LAST thing the jurors hear/see before going into deliberations.
WT mentioned something about "bringing Travis into the court room" - letting the jurors really see him - and then hitting them again with the gruesome autopsy/crime scene photos.

I am so glad I work from home next week.

So many people want to prove her a liar, surely they wouldn't have had a shortage of suitably-sized volunteers? They had a missed opportunity here. It could've been used to blow JA completely out of the water. Instead? It's still open for debate, because if our own pro-prosecution WT is underwhelmed with the science behind this little demonstration, then so are thousands more. The question is whether any jurors feel that way too.
Depends on your vision of what 'pro prosecution' is I think. I don't consider myself pro prosecution. I do believe she is guilty of premeditated murder. However, that doesn't influence me to want to be a cheerleader that puts on rose colored glasses and needs a hero and dump my common sense. I don't deliberately force myself to call every breath the def takes as bad. Just as I call it a mistake for Nurmi and Willmott to vomit out the same reshearsed lines for months on end, I say that not because I desire to 'hate' the def, but a weighed conscious opionion I have. I'm okay with my common sense saying WTF to Juan's shelf attempt. I don't see JM as an idol, or perfect. Seen him make mistakes too. The difference for me is - regardless of mistakes, JM is smart, professional, passionate and I appreciate those qualities. I won't regurgitate the many flaws and unprofessionalism opinion of the def.
IOWs, for me it isn't a matter of making one my 'team'. I look at both as it goes and call it on the way from what I see not who I 'like' for a team player.
I would grade the prosecution 95/5 and the def 5/95 :)

So, Jodi didn't ruin everything, she and her DT have provided months of entertainment that other trials have not.
UM, YOU are here right with everyone! So you are claiming this is your entertainment?
I don't agree with your blanket statement. Perhaps you might widen your horizons and consider that each person could have a different motivation.
Entertainment is certainly one but too narrow for you to accuse everyone with shades of judgment IMO.
Giving 'credit' to JA is .. forgive me. but laughable. If it wasn't JA it would be someone else that we each found to pass our time for whatever motivation(s) we have- Hobby, passing interest, addiction, entertainment, over identifying from a personal experience ... whatever. Personally I was practically cutting my teeth on mysteries and crime stories. You could say it's a hobby I am addicted to and entertains my time. ; )

I could be wrong but I believe that phrase is a version of something Travis was suppose to have said 'everything you touch turns to shit'. A statement by the liar herself.

Can someone explain why the trajectory is not possible? I thought it went in his eyebrow and lodged into his cheek bone. So if he was down charging at her in the line backer position, wouldn't that make her fire into the eyebrow, and since she would be standing a bit higher up than he was, it would have a downward kinda angle and if she was off to the side it could have gone diagonally. Couldn't it?
Not that I believe her, I'm just having a hard time understanding why the trajectory is not believable.

Karma is only a bitch if you are!

GOOD! I was just guessing based on how the defense always gets to defend against what the pros says but I'm glad to be wrong.

We know there was no gun. Leave it at that, imo.
Gotta respectfully disagree with you on this. For me the shelf was huge when it was first pointed out and still is. It not only goes toward disproving her self-defense story, it also proves premeditation. If there was no gun at Travis's house, the only other possibility is that she brought it with her. Add the .25 cal 'stolen' just 1 week earlier and BANG, premed.

With Nurmi, one would never know how long his closing argument would last. It's a safe bet that Juan would start his closing on Friday though.

I agree it's HUGE. It isn't possible for things to have happened the way Jodi says they did. That's another lie straight to the jury's faces, and yep, it proves that Travis's "gun" never existed, thus, premeditation. She's screwed.
