I'm going with Dr Geffner for the defense. Who else would take a whole day? The judge, jmo, is being optimistic unless she has given the defense a very short rope with which to hang itself and Stabby further
I think so too. but the judge is only giving one day in a stern voice? is that like be here at 9:30 court will begin promptly?

I took it to mean that next Thursday would be for the closing arguments, and Friday a.m. the jury will get their final instructions and go into deliberations. But, it wasn't very clear.

Also, today being cut off early might push everything back even more.

I just don't see why there is any reason to bring grandma in this late in the game, except for a sympathy ploy to the jury. "Oh look at poor grandma, you can't kill her granddaughter!" Disgusting maneuver.

That's why I think it's Sir-Rebuttal. JSS said okay, but she's only giving them one day.

Start late/end early... that has been the pattern here. I am sure the jury is happy that there is light at the end of this shitfest finally.

I'm a little surprised that I haven't seen any Stabby type t-shirts yet. Disappointed is more like it. I want one dedicated to the lost time I spent watching the piece of shit that I will never get back.

I don't think of it as disgusting, more expected. For all we know, Grandma could be the start of the bitch line, or maybe she doesn't believe in the DP or she wanted to come for a day or or or .. at least she didn't pack a lunch and sit there laughing, eating candy.

I feel bad for granny, but it doesn't change my opinion about Jodi. Hopefully the jury feels the same way.

I do think you're right, though. Somebody definitely pressured her to come and support Jodi. But I think her reaction speaks volumes, personally... she clearly knows Jodi is effed.

will any of us watching EVER stop being shocked and surprised and disgusted over the defense of stabby? (not the actual people, besides stabby, but the things they say, do and use and twist?)

This is EXACTLY what Jodi deserves. Exactly. If Jodi is on death row, she can drag out her appeals for 30 years, so far as I am concerned, because having to be alone with herself with nobody to manipulate or interact with would be a terrible punishment for her. That is why I pray the verdict is death, even if it is never carried out. This isolation is what she deserves.

The shelf above appears to have the pins about 1" in from the edge. In order for it to tip over, the tip of the foot would have to be just on the edge. The further in the foot is, the less likely it is to tip. If the foot is a few inches in from the edge, there is no way it will tip forward. The heel doesn't have to be over the pin either. It would most likely come crashing straight down from the weight as the pins would give way. However, if you distribute your weight between it and one you have your hand on, reach up and grab something off a higher shelf, you will only be on ift for a split second and your momentum going up will lessen the load on the shelves. If the pin was 4 inches in from the front, it would be a different story.

The palm of the hand in the picture is placed on the very edge, pushing at an angel to best make the shelf tip. Couldn't be any more blatant.

Was Jodi Arias pregnant by Travis and then miscarried? Well that?s what Jodi Arias is allegedly revealing in her tell-all book she?s writing from behind bars, according to a National Enquirer "insider.". There are also now reports Jodi Arias is confident she?ll be acquitted of murder. And today ? Jodi Arias? grandma in court for the first time, why? And a bombshell in court - the detective testifies that there was NO evidence a gun ever existed in Travis? home ? I wonder if Jodi Arias is still confident she?ll be acquitted?! #JodiArias www.HLNtv.com/Nancy
