I wonder how many of the jurors questions Juan has voiced opposition over vs. the defense?
Now see, this is jmo, but I tend to think the witness time conflict means it is the defense's witness, because he was apparently contacted with short notice, whereas Martinez has had his list of rebuttal witnesses lined up.
Also, I can't help but feel that there is no remaining Martinez witness that would require an entire court day for direct/cross, considering how the rest of this has gone.
I hope I'm wrong, but I think we are looking at the defense witness on Wednesday.

No, it is NOT relevant because she never claimed there was a gun there until YEARS after the murder. Why when the entire crime and all the evidence took place in the bathroom and hallway to the bedroom would they take a picture of the top shelf of the closet or check there for proof of a gun that never existed? I believe she said only a "short" day tomorrow, then off until Wed. That is the day she told the jury to come in at 9am, and be prepared to stay late, possibly after 5pm, to finish up. I believe that will be the last day of testimony, then, with Thurs. and Fri. for closing arguments. I think that's right, but someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Jesus, I'm simply theorizing that at the time, had they known the skank was going to use this fucked up story, they could have checked the top shelf at that time. Just like they are testing the shelving pins...now 4.5 years later. The dust isn't there now, they can't check it, but it may have been helpful knowing what we know now.

Maybe. but it wasn't important to investigators AT THAT TIME> stabby didn't mention Travis HAD a gun up there and she scaled it to grab it til this latest story and possibly even just came up or came to her while testifying that there was a gun up there. ffs. The closet was undisturbed, no blood, no disturbance, no indication AT ALL that a chase occurred there, let alone scaling those shelves with NOTHING at all out of place. not even that bench was tipped over, or moved or anything. at all. period. sounds to me as if MARCH, when Flores investigated this shelving, is the very first time ANY of this garbage about Travis even having a gun came out. like last MONTH march.
