I lock doors behind me all the time, sometimes when I want them open. Getting out of there without leaving a trace of blood past the bedroom hall, that took thought. There was one spot on the washing machine. I still can't figure it out.

I don't see Flight or Fright there at all but I'm not an expert and neither are the jurors (that we know of). I'm sure that JM is going to point all of this out in his closing argument and then again in his rebuttal to defense's closing argument.
That closing argument is going to be something! I wonder if that still will happen in June as you predicted? All depends on judge's decision on the surrebuttal case!

He will do that and can now legitimately lay all that on the foundation that Jodi lied on the stand, more the once, to the Jurors faces... a jury that goes into deliberations knowing they were lied to is already halfway to conviction.. IMO.

Then her plan went awry ? perhaps Travis saw the gun and tried to get it from her ? and a struggle ensued, hence the stabbing and leaving what Flores called the best evidence he?d ever had in a homicide case. I think the ninja story could have come from a mush-up in her twisted little mind of her original plan with Flores saying there had to be more than one person involved.

Of course we?ll probably never know for sure - that?s what keeps me obsessing over this case!
I kind of agree with you about she came there with the gun. It could have jammed after the first shot, hence then the knife. Had she been able to shoot him a couple of times only, and not needed the knife, she might have been able to completely get away with the entire murder. Not leaving any evidence behind. IF she would have taken the SDcard from the camera. That's the only evidence I can think of that would have been left? And that it was a 25auto same as the one she took from GP's house. Is there is more you guys think/know of if it was only gunshots?

She makes me sick to my stomach any way she planned it, but I am glad she was caught. Just wish it was on 'attempted' murder leaving us Travis.

And how many layers of security did online banking have then?

As I recall, my JPM/Chase account detected that I was at my home computer and used passwords.

What if Jodi accessed his account on his computer and asked to reset his password with an email to his email address that she had access to? What if he stored his passwords on his computer? What if Travis used the same password for everything? What if his password was 'napolean77'(dog/year born)?
She could have done that. Or like I said with my personal experience, my bank detected a log-in attempt from a place I didn't live (hundreds of miles away), and they right away contacted me. If there was an attempted log-in from CA -- something like 1,000 miles from Travis -- I think they could've contacted him about it. My bank's fraud dept was all over that, calling and asking if I was out of town. They wouldn't tell me the area where the intrusion attempt was coming from for some reason, but they definitely flagged it right away as not being my home address or anywhere in the local area. I didn't know banks watched things online that closely, but I assume they determined my location of other logins, or perhaps my recent ATM access and decided this attempt from an area a big distance away didn't seem kosher. It was a pain going through my whereabouts with the bank, but obviously I am grateful they were that cautious about the attempted access.

Perhaps Im hoping for too much but.. could it be the Chase card might be related to those 3 checks she said where she was borrowing TA money. Could it be she was actually paying back amounts TA paid on her Chase card since we know she was financially busted. More likely, it is just to verify the gas purchases
I hope it's not about the gas purchases, because I think we can all agree that he more than proved that with the Tesoro woman on the stand. I'm hoping for something more interesting.

Exactly. That's why I hated that stupid crap with the "Law of Attraction", and the fact that a legit psychologist like Alyce was even paying that any mind, much less justifying it in order to claim that Travis did all kinds of negative shit, but Jodi just didn't write it down.

I thought so. But then the hd was brought up again yesterday, by Nurmi at least. I figured they were going somewhere else with that, but then... no.

Yeah. And at one point Jodi was badgering Det. Flores about the check, whether it would be cashed or something. Like WTF did she think was going to cash it when Travis was dead (by her hand)?

Her decision to go back to Yreka was forced upon her by her dire financial situation and the fact that TA was pulling away from her and with him went his friends. She spoke/speaks of only one friend of her own in Mesa(Rachel, who booted her out), the rest were all TA's friends. I believe that when she pulled out of Mesa to go back to Yreka is when she started plotting to kill TA.
LOL @ the bolded. Yeah, that's pretty much what I decided from reading that. Weird stuff.

I agree that Jodi was only being able to stay afloat in AZ because of Travis. I think he told her he couldn't help her anymore -- probably because his own financial situation was failing thanks to helping her out -- and she had no choice but to go back to gramps house.

That was that "fists" video or whatever. They verified that someone had been watching it around 4 or 5 am. I'm blanking on the exact time at this point. I would wonder if Jodi trying to access something, but I don't imagine she was sitting there watching that video. She would be snooping; which is what I thought was perhaps the access at 4:54pm or thereabouts. That time, Jodi has said they were both in Travis' office. But, I can't help but wonder if he hadn't seen her out and then went back upstairs, and then Jodi sneaked back in and checked his computer and read his mail/facebook etc., and read something that really pissed her off, and led to her going upstairs to kill him.

Of course we'll never really know, because Jodi is such a pathological liar that even if she says she will tell the truth about all that, there's no way to believe her.

He will bring Travis into the courtroom for the jurors to really see is my prediction. He's done that in a couple of his cases that have news left to read about them in detail. He put up the vibrant living person picture .. then slapped down a morgue shot. Sorry can't name them, read too much of his stuff to say for sure which ones.

I know what you mean... I still think JA doing it that night was a deliberate act to delay discovery of the body.

Yes! That little detail didn't cross my mind.
The DT has really done their best to muddy the waters, but between the 12 deliberating jurors, most of, if not all of the inconsistencies in their story will be identified and debunked.

I'm going out on a limb here but I think the deliberations will be short and they will come back with guilty, murder 1. Between the gun, and the ME's testimony (which I hope will be part of the rebuttal today!) and the gas cans, to me premed is crystal clear.

I believe Murder 1 will come back too. I am still undecided on whether they'll go with Life w/o Parole or Life w/ Parole.
I'm not convinced the jury will choose the death penalty, unless JM can really make it crystal clear to them how much Travis suffered.

I wonder why her putting up the dog gate didn't come up in testimony? Or did it? I can't remember hearing that mentioned in court. I suppose the roommates would have to testify to that one.

Also, about her art-for-sale. Any money she's making now should be spent asap. If she does not spend this money now, it will be frozen as soon as the verdict is read. Any money left in her account and any money she makes in the future will go directly to the victim's family. The book that she's supposedly writing can be stopped from publication by the victims family. Any sales from that book (if published) would also go to the victim's family. It's safe to say that she could be selling paintings from prison for the rest of her life, however she'll never make a dime. Any money that comes in for her will be seized by the court. I am sure that there will be a civil case against her no matter what the outcome of this trial is. There HAS to be. This will ensure that all of her money will be gone as soon as it comes in; whether she's in prison or not. She'll be paying off that family for the rest of her life.
    And this makes me smile.

Maybe that was the argument on 5/26, Jodi was in his accounts. It could even have been a bank statement that alerted Travis.

I've wondered about the time between the 4:45am computer access, when she arrived and the sex photos. We only have her word that he knew she was there. She said she was watching him on the computer before he knew she was there. She could have crawled into bed with him while he was asleep. What proof is there that she was a welcome guest, he didn't look happy in any of the photos taken that day.

One thing about Borderline Personality Disorder and the broad brush some are painting related to Jodi Arias...

The vast majority of BPDs don't go around killing people.

The most likely person a BPD will harm is themselves. Self-harming and suicide rates are very high in the BPD population.

I've picked up fear in the BPD community that they are perceived equal to Arias.

Arias is a killer who happened to have BPD traits, along with other cluster B traits that may have contributed to this.

Her BPD did not cause her to kill.

As with everything she touches, Jodi ruins everything. God bless those with BPD and PTSD.

I'm not convinced the jury will choose the death penalty, unless JM can really make it crystal clear to them how much Travis suffered.
I could see JM needing to prove premedidation but the autopsy photos alone will speak to what the last moments of Travis Alexander's life felt like and how much he suffered. JA herself made a large error when she stated how much it hurt when she tried to commit suicide. Just the attempt of cutting herself was enough to hurt enough to stop. I'm not sure whether it was proven or not that she tried but the fact that not a mark is left from the attempt and she stated how much it hurt should ring clear in the jurors minds. It really puts into context what poor Travis must have went through and felt with each and every strike.
