Good morning, fellow JA addicts!!! Just a quick observation that in googling Travis's name this morning, the 2nd picture that shows for him is the neck slash pic now. I've always hated that the pics of Travis that previously showed up were of him with Jodi (she ruins everything as always)...however, the neck slashing pic on the main page when just googling his name is just so sad....especially for the family. :(

anybody notice the little tyke's head behind the poinsettia plant? or the diet Pepsi, can't tell if it is the decaf version. Deanna is such a class act, she does not seem bitter in the least that she spent so long with Travis and he did not marry her.

I'm watching "48 Hours: Hard Evidence. Casey Anthony: Judgement Day. I will be sick, but not surprised, if Jodi gets less than M1 or even if she gets off. It iis just so disgusting, but completely possible, given the stupid garbage that has and is going on in this trial. just makes me sad and sick.

Talk about a joke of a trial. I watched that one from start to finish as well. George and Cindy were suspect right along with Casey. That was one where you knew something more must have happened but will never know what. The jury could have at least given CA child abuse charges but I suppose she would be walking today either way.

Any ideas on what we may expect today?

More rebuttal witnesses from prosecution?
Sur-rebuttal from defense?
Closing statements?
Followed by quick deliberation and guilty verdict? (I can dream, right?)

Hahaha! That is a total dream but I do hope for some more rebuttal from Juan. I still expect the BOOM witness to come out of this and I bet Juan is saving it for last.

I thought it was a "brand new camera" in JA's words and they were "breaking it in" in her testimony?
I was shocked to hear there were another 90 pics. She selectively deleted certain photos then! I thought all photos were. Her being a 'photographer' she should have known deleting isn't permanent! Thankfully for us, another screw up showing how dumb she really is!

It doesn't make much difference, because if this is true, she must have selectively deleted. But it is possible the part about it being a brand new camera & barely used is still true. Just because the camera was new doesn't mean the memory card was??

Media has been told to show up at 11:00 AM for what is assumed to be a hearing regarding the final prosecution rebuttal witnesses that the defense wants kept out. Then assuming they are allowed in by the judge, we'll see more rebuttal testimony at 1:30 when the jury is to show up.

Actually, it wasn't a 'log in' time. Melendez said 4:54 pm was the last activity on the computer from what he could attribute to "a user". Being the Einstein he is, he couldn't evnn say what that actiivty was. Sadly, I think AZ has a not so smart / experienced employee with Melendez. He comes across as a standard government employee that trained on how to use a software program is about all.
He stated the reason some photos were thumbnails is because the regular files had been overwritten. Considering there were no traces of ANY other photos that id overwrite afer the killing, I'd love him to explain what he thinks overwrote anything. He also had difficulty keeping the date times straight. On first testimony he told JM first he didn't know what put the red date/time stamp on the photos, then said it came from Encase, then told Willmott he had no idea. Then vouched for Willmott that the pics were taken by someone, not by using the timer. No we / he could 'guess' at this, but he doesn't know that enough to literally vouch it for Willmott giving her what she wanted.

IMO, it's obvious the investigation didn't look very much into elctronic paths for this case.

I was hoping for testimony about fraud, financials, etc. but I believe she would have been charged with something if there was anything substantial there. I think money played a part in our Personality Challenged Defendant's actions, but the extent of it may never be known. Diagnose away please, I stopped trying to figure her out. Too much for a layperson like me.

That's exactly what I was worried about at the end of trial yesterday. We know that the defense wants to keep out the information regarding the closet shelves. I still think one of them is Matt McCartney. At least it looks like it'll be televised.

Someone on the stand needs to personally attack something she feels she is superior at. Like her artwork. I would assume that if a witness from the past some how made fun of her trying to be and artist and started tearing her "art" down, Jodi would not be able to contain herself. Or, if JM somehow poked fun at her photographs, being amateurish and lacking proper lighting and composition, we would probably see some sort of anger come out in her. I was kind of hoping JM would have taken this approach with JA on the stand.

This is why JM is nearly sitting in her lap! I have seen many, many, and more ppl with BPD melt-down. Throwing themselves on the floor of the er screaming, crying, hitting walls and kicking doors. These folks cant self soothe once they are in a melt down state. Lucky for me I was the one with syringe in hand filled with the chemical cocktail able to transmit the message of calm (the f*ck) down. I imagine this will be distasteful for some on the thread, but each and every one would thank me later. End of story.

BPD meltdowns are a horrendous thing to watch. I have seen a few in my time.

OH this reminds me, I think I figured out what Robert Brown is for .... Travis' cell phone. Remember the hearing, mistrial bs about the state not giving them text msgs until 2011? Then technology because available to them. I think then in entered Robert Brown. I sure hope I'm wrong and it's better than that boring stuff.
