What a moving moment, when Deanna spoke of Travis' love for his father and the pride he felt for his father's attempts to clean up his life, causing Samantha and Steven to weep. I'm sure that was true, and I love her for giving them that. It has to have been so painful for the siblings to be forced to listen to living conditions they suffered as children, for which they had no responsibility at all, being used against Travis by the DT and Alyce.

I see it as they have had such a hard life, then to have Travis killed in this manner and to have to go through a long trial.

In one sense you're right, it's not fair how differently people react to defense vs. prosecution comments.

In another sense, what the fuck? This poor woman is a witness in a criminal trial. She's not up there for anyone to evaluate her level of attractiveness or physical fitness. That applies to all the witnesses, male or female. Negative comments are even less appropriate. I guess women get "rated" as a conversatoinal topic a little more often. That's the point though. Every communication between Jodi and Travis is mutual. Never once does Jodi say in those that she didn't like it or ask him to stop, or say that she was not interested. Quite the opposite.

It's only now that she's in court that she's saying oh she was coerced or she did it to please him. There is nothing incriminating in Travis' sexual history. There is nothing horrible or wrong in it. He wasn't a child predator, he wasn't a rapist; only Jodi's word.

She was also dumb enough to testify that every and any time she asked TA to STOP any sexual activity he did.

What happened to the witness that was "supposed" to testify about the incident with JA at the Hughes house? Hope JM doesn't rest before hearing from her.

This was the most productive day they've had so far, a fact that has apparently caused the Hon. SS to become so exhausted that she couldn't possibly begin on time tomorrow (err, on time as in "regularly scheduled time"). She needs it to recuperate, I'm sure.

He did have to go there. The defense has nothing else but to try and paint Jodi as the victim and Travis as someone who deserved to be murdered.

Unfortunately for Nurms, all the questioning of Travis' exes made one thing clear. That even though he may have crossed boundaries, or tried to (violating chastity, grabbing Mimi's butt), he was never egregious in crossing them; he felt bad for it; and he repented.

With Jodi, he found someone who mutually enjoyed it. In the defense's eyes, that makes Jodi a victim whom Travis disrespected. In my eyes, that made Jodi someone who enjoyed exploiting Travis' weaknesses and helping him indulge in them. I have no doubt that -- based on his behavior with all of his other exes -- if Jodi said she did not enjoy something, felt bad or didn't want to do it anymore, that he would've respected that and not done those things. That's what he did with every other woman. To me, that's Travis' pattern.

He was certainly far from a saint, but who isn't. But he was respectful and regretful of bad behavior and tried not to do it again. Until he met someone who was just as into that behavior as he was and didn't tell him it was wrong, don't do it, stop, etc. They were equals in that sexual relationship.

Even with Jodi, when she said stop, he stopped.

She does have a toad face w snake eyes. Seems to me the judge has been too damn lenient. Well, if she is convicted on 1st, then hopefully it will hold up on appeal. Cause we all know that is where it it going. She thinks she should walk out of there a free woman.
