I don't like the making fun of what someone looks like no matter which side they are on. I am more defensive of it when it comes to Deanna for two reasons 1. because I personally know her. 2. because of what a great person she is and she should NEVER be called a cow. EVER.
I don't believe looks define who a person is. I'm overweight and it is very hard for me to hear that someone is ugly just because they are heavy.

Well, I agree that no one's looks should be up for scrutiny in a trial that has absolutely nothing to do with that. Well, except for Jodi, to a point. She obviously was into her looks and used them to her advantage, and she obviously tried to lose weight and look weak and mousy for her trial. I think that her narcissism and her "little meek librarian" looks are up for discussion.

The part that impressed me, even though she got a little defensive talking about it (understandable), was how she owned up to it and did the penance. Then she stopped. She didn't try to hide or work the system. I can respect that. She came clean in the eyes of the church as well as on the stand.

I will give Nurmi a little credt as well, he could have gotten more graphic and more personal. He didn't ask her about her sexual experiences before Travis, whether she was a virgin, what kind of sex they had, and so forth. He never asked about other men. Nurms had to get in his three hole wonder moment but that's just his go-to phrase. Juan has gas cans and Nurmi has three hole wonder. I guess with three gas cans you have three holes so there you go. Like attracts like.

that may be so, but the defense gives us so much more ammunition, and well, it is much easier to bash them in light of the nasty way they present self defense, their constant bashing of Travis is what makes it easy for me to justify in myhead. If they actually put on ANY evidence reflecting self defense in ANY manner, I would find myself feeling guilty for getting my bully beat down going, but they make it massively impossible. Yes, I am passing blame to them. I am an asshole, so what. I find the autopsy photos of Travis justify me being bitchy, or namecalling whomever I choose.
