The part that impressed me, even though she got a little defensive talking about it (understandable), was how she owned up to it and did the penance. Then she stopped. She didn't try to hide or work the system. I can respect that. She came clean in the eyes of the church as well as on the stand.
I will give Nurmi a little credt as well, he could have gotten more graphic and more personal. He didn't ask her about her sexual experiences before Travis, whether she was a virgin, what kind of sex they had, and so forth. He never asked about other men. Nurms had to get in his three hole wonder moment but that's just his go-to phrase. Juan has gas cans and Nurmi has three hole wonder. I guess with three gas cans you have three holes so there you go. Surely we should hear Travis' voice, his point of view. But sadly we cannot, because Jodi murdered him. So, instead we have a woman who has no proven history of being a lying liar who lies, giving her experience with Travis. I think I'll take Deanna's word over Jodi's.

I could be wrong, but I believe the majority of what Melendez testified to last time was the camera and the recovered photos from the camera. I don't remember any testimony about what was or wasn't on T's computer until Dworkin, I believe.
Ah but how brightly Deanna shone in court. Arias' vile smirking in front of the jury just served to tighten the noose further around her neck. Listen to the testimony. Travis never lied about being a 'virgin.' People asked, he chuckled a bit, deflected the question and let them believe what they wanted to believe. The question did not come up in a clinical setting. It was a bunch of high-school locker room banter. It's called normal--well maybe a little more than normal amongst a group of horny mormons who are dreaming of the day.

So why when someone says something negative about the people you like, are they trolls? I agree with Biggie, she is not a good looking girl. If she was there working for the defense, I guarantee all of you would be ripping on her weight, looks ect. You get pissed when people say any thing positive about the defense and even more pissed when someone puts down the prosecution. I don't see why her attractiveness is being mentioned at all! She is a witness testifying about her personal relationship with someone who loved her, it's no one elses place to remark on why he would find her attractive.

He did have to go there. The defense has nothing else but to try and paint Jodi as the victim and Travis as someone who deserved to be murdered.
Unfortunately for Nurms, all the questioning of Travis' exes made one thing clear. That even though he may have crossed boundaries, or tried to (violating chastity, grabbing Mimi's butt), he was never egregious in crossing them; he felt bad for it; and he repented.
With Jodi, he found someone who mutually enjoyed it. In the defense's eyes, that makes Jodi a victim whom Travis disrespected. In my eyes, that made Jodi someone who enjoyed exploiting Travis' weaknesses and helping him indulge in them. I have no doubt that -- based on his behavior with all of his other exes -- if Jodi said she did not enjoy something, felt bad or didn't want to do it anymore, that he would've respected that and not done those things. That's what he did with every other woman. To me, that's Travis' pattern.
He was certainly far from a saint, but who isn't. But he was respectful and regretful of bad behavior and tried not to do it again. Until he met someone who was just as into that behavior as he was and didn't tell him it was wrong, don't do it, stop, etc. They were equals in that sexual relationship.
