That is a cold, deliberate way to end someone's life. She knew, and formed the intent to kill Travis when she decided to put that knife to his throat. She wanted him to die -- and she made absolutely certain that he did.

And that is what we call premeditation.

I was very confident at one point about the outcome of this trial, now I'm starting to get a little nervous. It's like re-living Casey Anthony's trial again. I want to be very wrong about it.

I was never 100% on the outcome because I was so sure that CA would have been convicted and we all know how that went. There is a lot more evidence in this trial and of course the fact that JA admitted to killing TA. Nonetheless I am nervous about the outcome too. I do not like some of the juror questions they sounded to me as if some of them have bought in to JA's claims. I hope that I am wrong.

this is getting ridiculous... I've seen trials with Saturday sessions... 6 days a week. I've seen murder trials start to finish in less than a month... we are getting to the point of diminishing returns where the service of Justice is being derailed by what seems like a dysfunctional system... A less than happy jury going into deliberations is not necessarily going to do a thorough job behind closed doors.. IMO.

Show me some evidence he abused her. His getting pissed because she was up to nonsense doesn't count.
As far as the knife goes, she lived in a tent for several weeks, that's probably when she picked up her trusty ol' knife. Why would she reference it in an e-mail? She used it to slash his tires.

I will grant you that those things prove she planned an "off the grid" trip through Arizona. That does not mean she planned to murder him. She could have planned to sleep under his Christmas tree, or pee in his fishtank, or shave her head in his front yard, or some other batshit crazy Borderline Personality Disorder chick thing that she loved to do.

The defense pursued their strategy of saying that the weapons were at Travis's house (regardless of validity) specifically because The Prosecution can not place those weapons in her hands until the moment of the killing.

Coconut, with utmost respect, I don't believe any evidence would convince you that she is guilty of the charges. You may not think the gas cans are a big deal, but they ARE. And the paper trail of how she bought gas to put IN them, is huge. It disproves her story that she had them because she wanted to get cheaper gas after crossing out of California. She lied. She lied about returning the 3rd gas can. She lied about even going IN to Az. She lied to people before the left, lied to people while she continued on her journey. The hair dye. My question to you? Why are YOU so convinced that this wasn't 1st degree.
