I am positive Dr. DeMarte's IQ is quite high. I would guess Jenny's IQ is probably above average, but not far above.

I am also impressed that Juan choose Dr. D. I said from the start that I thought he had made an excellent choice, even considering her age and fewer years in practice.

And she can always find the relevant papers instantly.

Um I believe she had a freind in the gallery at least yesterday, not sure about today.

Wonder why Juan didn't object and push for his witness to be able to look at the emails/IM? I know he knows that the Doc can handle the cross and by Willmutt refusing to allow it makes her look worse than she already does if that's possible.

I found it ironic that JW was emphasizing with this witness that "you wouldn't want to mislead anyone?" considering just yesterday JW mislead the jurors into thinking that LW doesn't follow the 6 pt criteria with the same witness.

That comment by Willmott was so out of line, considering ALL of the misleading she is attempting to do with the experts she and Nurmi brought in and, I don't know - insinuating that the victim was a pedophile ?!

So far, JDM has held her ground well, at least it seems so to me. I don't know how trials really are, but never thought exams went quite like JW's. JM's were tough, but not so ridiculous. This should be a great learning experience for JDM for future court cases. When her next case is over, she'll probably think, "wow, is that it?".

There are huge gaps in the text and IM's (we only know the pieces that have been shown in court) Dr. D said on the stand that all Travis' angry words were always in response to Jodi being intrusive in his life. Jenny didn't let her bring them out b/c then I think the jury would finally see the start, middle, and ending of the text conversations. Maybe JM will bring them up now??

Love how she tried stalling when she couldn't find the text message/IM, repeating her question over and over, Dr. D just calmly repeating that she'd like to view the message before responding to be accurate. Palin was pacing back and forth like a chicken with her head cut off, lol.

JW vs Dr D is reminiscent of when I and my husband argue. I yap, yap, yap...raise my voice, trying to engage him, turning red in the face as he just stands there calmly listening, not answering me, and when I'm finished simply saying, "Are you done? Is that it?" Arrrgh, drives me crazy!

Defense team is obsessed with vilifying Travis for that 5-26-08 email. Everyone wants to know what she did or said that triggered his email which to me represented his final realization of the depth of Jodi's depravity. She brutally kill e d him
9 days later.

I wish he would. I think we all have some reasonable guesses as to what kinds of things are there, but I would love to know the actual details with certainty. I think it would show quite clearly what Jodi was really like in that relationship.

I hope jurors ask for clarification of BPD so JD can really elaborate. IMO there will be a lot less questions for JD, and this jury gets what is going on during this ridiculous cross. Jenny will be crushed.

I would love to see the whole text, and IM messages. Mostly the one I want more than anything is the part of the conversation BEFORE Travis replied with "This is in response to your dire conversation"

I think Jodi's text before Travis' replies are the "nail" in the coffin. Maybe they are considered legally against her (or whatever that legal term is). IDK

I believe Dr. DeMarte when she said that all Travis' bad words were always in response to Jodi intruding in his life and stalking him. May 10 was the last nice text he sent her. May 26 was the next time he texted her....and that was the mean text.

From May 10 until June 4- There is only 2 text from Travis and 1 IM....and one phone call. That has all that has been shown on Travis' side. That's just 4 communications with Jodi.

On Jodi's side-There were multiple emails, that stupid poem, Texts, IM and lots of phone calls that only last seconds.

How did Willmutt expect the jury to believe that Travis got up from the "blood pouring down his back photo, with Jodi's foot" to getting up and deleting photos? Hope Juan goes there on redirect. At the very least Jodi deleted 4 photos - and Willmutt thinks this is helping her client?

I just keep wondering what Wilmott thinks she's gaining by thinking that asking Jodi how many times she's punched holes in wall, broken windows or kicked in doors will gain her?

I have never done any of the above--with the exception of breaking a window when locked out of my house, with my baby inside--nor have I ever slapped or kicked my mother, nor even thought about doing that even when she slapped me when I was a teen. These aren't normal behaviors for a teenager or adult.

The wedding pictures that Jodi was worrying about when she was first arrested, was that Patty's wedding? Does anybody know when Patty got married? She has that long blond hair that she had while with Travis.
