Love how she tried stalling when she couldn't find the text message/IM, repeating her question over and over, Dr. D just calmly repeating that she'd like to view the message before responding to be accurate. JW vs Dr D is reminiscent of when I and my husband argue. I yap, yap, yap...raise my voice, trying to engage him, turning red in the face as he just stands there calmly listening, not answering me, and when I'm finished simply saying, "Are you done? Is that it?" Arrrgh, drives me crazy!

Why did they have the recess. I also don't understand the 90 minute PLUS lunch break. They NEVER make it back on time. It is almost always a 2 hour lunch. It is SO ridiculous. This is a trial...the jurors are giving up their LIVES for this. The least the court could do is try to be timely. But, that NEVER happens. UGH!!!!

I am positive Dr. DeMarte's IQ is quite high. I would guess Jenny's IQ is probably above average, but not far above.

I am also impressed that Juan choose Dr. D. I said from the start that I thought he had made an excellent choice, even considering her age and fewer years in practice.

This doctor is everything that JW's "experts" are not....professional, ethical, unbiased, educated. She is a "by the book" professional, who only works with what she is given. And she is NOT afraid of Jenn, at all. I love her "bring it on" kind of attitude. Jenn is flustered, and it makes her look all the more a fool!

Actually, I am glad Jenny is attacking Dr. D. Because it shows that a witness who is a competent professional can undergo intense questioning from an antagonistic questioner and remain totally calm and factual. The comparison between Dr. D's response and the response of the biased hacks the defense put on is obvious.

Dr. Demarte didn't have to come up with tortured theories to support her conclusions... so it's easier to be conversant in her delivery.

To be fair, it is almost impossible to get lunch and get back to a courtroom in an hour. You can't drive because parking is impossible, you're competing with all the other ppl who work downtown, and unless you regularly work downtown, you don't know the best places to get food. I'm pretty sure downtown Phoenix isn't different than other major metropolitan areas.

Last time I got called to jury duty, I was cutting close to get back in 90 minutes. I suppose I could have brought a sack lunch, but there aren't any refrigerators. After the first day I made do with vending machine food.

May 26, 2008- IM. The long mean one- The doc agrees that Travis was upset with Jodi at time. The doc wouldn't agree with the term of abusive. HAHA. The doc said I can't answer you in a yes or no. (Palin is being snarky as hell. but the doc is holding up very well) The doc is basically saying Travis spoke mean, but it's not abuse. Travis only used those words when Travis thought Jodi was being intrusive. (Jenny's raising her voice and is trying to word play)

I don't like that the talking heads are trying to compare her to JM when it isn't at all like that. She is trying to come off as being nice, but it is that fake "Mean Girls" type of nice. When she said "You know what" yesterday in that attitude I wanted to punch her. I love that Dr. D is staring daggers through her and giving the attitude right back to her.

The "talking heads" try too hard to be non-biased. They have a hard time with that in this case. It is SO obvious that Jodi is guilty and yet they have to try to make it a "fair game" to keep people on the edges of their seat. The ONLY time I catch anything on HLN is when I am in my car and I have no other choice. I don't watch it in my house at all. I laugh at all the ridiculousness that is reported here though.

I found it ironic that JW was emphasizing with this witness that "you wouldn't want to mislead anyone?" considering just yesterday JW mislead the jurors into thinking that LW doesn't follow the 6 pt criteria with the same witness.

Willmott looked soooo stupid when she said that. It's like she thinks if she says it enough times the jury might believe it. Um, this jury has already proved that MOST of them are pretty bright. I guess Willmott is hoping that at least one of them is dumber than she is and will be swayed by her piss poor questioning.
