A couple of questions:
1. Anyone use a BB cream? Thoughts? I don't wear much make-up (mascara, eyeliner at times, gloss) and would like something to even out my skin without venturing into foundation, primer, etc.
2. Thoughts on dying the bottom half of your hair only? I have long curly hair that usually goes up in a ponytail. Thought it could be cute and different, but don't know if things like this are hip? My 14 yo says go for it as long as it's not blond. For reference, I have DARK brown hair and thinking of a reddish for the dye.
Do you mean the bottom half as in the underneath of your hair or the bottom half as in the tips of your hair? I have super Dark brown hair and I had bleached the underneath and then colored it purple one time and then red the next time. I like how it looked when it was in a ponytail or clipped up.

if you change the color of just the tips, you would be fine, i think... but if you do do the bottom half from the skull down, you might end up looking like you spent the last 2 years in the penitentiary.
This is what I meant. I should have been more clear. Although that now that just tips are mentioned, I might lean in that direction.

I have the same style. The top needs to be done again, but it the top was a reddish brown, and the bottom of my hair is black. I enjoy it.
I am obsessed with BB cream. It has simplified my morning routine like whoa.
Is it light like a moisturizer or heavier like a foundation?
Do you feel like your skin breathes while you're wearing it?
I only use Cetaphil moisturizer which is nice and light, but would love some benefits like smoothing out skin without having to put make up on.
The only bb cream I have used is Garnier. Not a huge fan but I want to try others.

I DON'T recommend the Garnier. I have the Physician's formula one and the Maybelline bb cream as well. Physican's formula is full coverage I would say and maybelline is a bit more sheer.
i got to say - i went out to get the maybelline and it wasn't as magic as i hoped it would be.
Aww, I really like it thus far but the physican's formula is my fave.
i don't have the best complexion, but it's not the worst. i generally have one zit on my face at all times but never more that three. they're all always on my chin - no where else. mine like to stay for a while and even once they're gone there's a purple mark for a long long time. the rest of my skin is fairly even for my age.
it's kind of hard to work with. i feel like i have to plaster my chin with cover-up and then blend with the rest of my foundation. it's probably making it worse.

I never have liked foundations and for the longest time just used powder. Four years ago, I started using tinted moisturizer with SPF and loved it. Recently, I got 'Too Faced BB Cream' and really like it a lot.

so, by some small miracle, i just stopped biting my nails (a lifelong habit) last month. i just stopped. there was no thought put into it... i just looked down one day and noticed my nails were past the tips of my fingers. i've been trying to keep them looking nice ever since that day, but i have found that it's way to troublesome to keep them painted in full. they chip at the base as the nail grows and i have to re do them everyday.
i did this thing (which is really difficult to do - for me) and i think it's cute and stays longer than full polish. i want your opinion:
i swiped the tips with red. once it dried, i took a q-tip and remover and cleaned it up, forming a crescent toward the tip - like a red french mani. then i did two coats of a clear matte finish. as the nails grow, i use a cotton and remover to even it out by the cuticle and re matte it with another two coats.
i've had mixed reviews from people i have shown it to. my mom says it looks like i have bloody finger tips.here's a picture from the internet:
