Imitrex is generic and so its pretty cheap. But if this trial had happened 10+ years ago, then I would agree with you, because Imitrex was very expensive before a generic version came out.

I know there are mixed opinions on what was or wasn't said by Willmott.
I took the clip and ran it through a audio editor. I slowed the speed and amped the volume.
She sounds a little like Darth Vader (because of the speed) but I can tell what she is saying.
What I hear is "You bitch" and I hear it clearly.
I uploaded the clip onto my YouTube channel but I don't think I can post links here yet... I am currently on my comment #4.

Let's say that one or two jurors fall for the DeMarte inexperience. They would then have to go against their common-sensibilities. Everything DeMarte said made way more sense than ole' Alyce and her obvious bias. At the most, they'll cancel each other out.

As far as sick Jodi goes, I think it's all bullshit. She's obviously not engaged with this witness testimony anyway. If she thinks this is a headache, she's not gonna like the needle. She has enough energy to doodle all damn day. I would hazard to guess that the majority of defendants are either sick to their stomach or have headaches. It can't be easy being a defendant, even though Hodi doesn't look like she really gives a shit. Sometimes I think it appears as if this whole thing is a waste of her time because no jury will ever convict her anyway. I have no sympathy for her, but I do for all the innocents that have to bow down to the almighty Jodi because she doesn't feel good. Does anyone think Travis' family feels good every day? Don't you think they feel sick every damn day they have to sit in the same room with the butcher? I'm so freakin' mad over it. I get awful headaches every month. I just talked to my doctor about it and got a prescription for migraines. I could see Jodi getting a headache so bad once during the trial that she could not go on with the day, but three? That's ridiculous. That's practically a whole week since they only have court 3-4 times a week.

Jodie is loving every minute of this trial! She has complete control. If you watch her close, tells her attorney Jenn, when and what to do and say most of the time. Nurmen has completely turned her off. She is in control of who she decides to look at in the gallary, I mean only a select few are worth her cold dark eyes! She even makes the guard wait for her almost everytime she leaves the courtroom. Now, when court will be called off, because she feels ill. She's glared at wittnesses and smiled at others. It's all a game for her and she wants to be in charge. She sure doesn't look or act like someone with low self-esteem to me. Someone with low self-esteem forone thing, would be petrified to sing in from of prisoners and she looked pretty comfy to me.

You are right about that. She is not remotely acting like someone in prison, much less someone facing possible lethal injection.

My opinion is that she faked the "migraine" yesterday. I think the defense knows that they are so far fucked that there is nothing they are going to be able to do to get a not guilty verdict. I think that the stalling is a tactic to wear out the jury and have them start bowing out. Someone posted awhile ago that Nurmi is thinking 2 down, 5 to go. I think that is about right.

When I first read your question, I thought I might consider it. But, my answer is no.

Anything Jodi did now would be purely to save her own skin. She has not exhibited one ounce of remorse; she has absolutely no regret in murdering Travis. Worse than that, she has done everything she can to torture his family and drag his memory and reputation through the mud.

Hell, Jeffrey Dahmer expressed remorse. Jeffrey Dahmer knew that he was a monster and he was willing to take the punishment due. Jodi is a cold-blooded killer without a conscience and no feelings for anyone but herself.

This asshole comes to court and laughs and gossips. She hocks her creepy drawings to fill her bank account. She thinks she's a freakin celebrity. She is enjoying every minute of it.

There is nothing worth saving in Jodi. She doesn't deserve to watch tv, socialize with others, read books in the library and receive visits from friends and family multiple times a week. She took that all away from Travis and she took him from all of those who truly loved him.

Jodi deserve nothing less than to rot away, by her lonesome, until that fateful day where she will get a far more peaceful death than she gave Travis.

I often have mixed feelings on the death penalty, but not in this case. Jodi deserves death. And if she spends 20 years during appeals in isolation on death row with little human contact and not getting to be the center of attention and manipulate people, that seems quite just as well.

aw, thanks Morticia. I lurked some but wanted to rest and observe mostly. Did you notice that one the day mother Arias hears the news of BPD she doesn't shed a tear or flinch once. She was asking to have the candy passed. It's the first time I had a small pang of sympathy for JA. DeMarte is a good solid witness but I doubt BPD is JAs only dx. MMPI isn't a good test for catch psychopathy. And, pychopath in women research is beginning to show is linked strongly to psychopathy. It is probable that if Dr D was smart enough to catch it, that part wasn't allowed in.

I wonder if that was the second dx Dr D was about to mention on the stand when there was an objection and then a sidebar? Would be great if Juan could get than in.

I know there is a generic but the generic is still 150-200 depending on location cash price. I work in an outpatient pharmacy. Even though it is generic insurance will only pay for 6-9 pills for a 30 day period.

There are certainly people with better speakers, better headphones, and maybe even better hearing than me. :) So, I won't discount what anyone else said they heard. I can just say that I personally didn't hear anything specific.

Now, as to whether Willmott would say it? Well, I think probably not intentionally. Could it have popped out of her mouth spontaneously? I think it's possible. She was clearly very frustrated by Dr. D and kept getting corrected and asked to produce proof/paperwork as to what she was asking about.

I think it's possible she lost her cool for a moment and muttered under her breath. Did she say "bitch"? It's possible. Did she say something else entirely? That's possible too. I just really can't personally say, except that she said something, something ending in a "ch".

While highlighting the exact same limits placed on her expert that never furthered her education to PHD level and had to practice under a psychologist. The result is, the jury sees Willmott attacking her own 'expert' by comparison.

Lenore Walker still uses her six criteria. So now the jury will not only see the defendant as a liar, Willmott has managed to turn herself into a liar the jury should not believe. Fatal mistake!

Best practice is to get a witness this impressive off the stand to limit the damage. Trying to go for lower weak points doesn't gain anything. All JW has accomplished is reinforcing how credible and steady this witness is coming across, wiped out her own 'experts' credentials by trying to minimize practicing under a psychologist and has now opened the door for Martinez to show JW lied.

For any lawyer to covertly use a form of reverse age discrimination to discredit a respected education PHD level is a boomerang! It was a loss to hang a neon sign out drawing attention to Dr Ds digital world access to research and only managed to remind the jury Alyce is a relic so out of date she failed to keep up with general norms in a digital world.

I agree with this, as someone who suffers occasional migraines myself. I am not convinced though that JA actually had one yesterday between the apparent makeup removal and it looks like she could be faking nausea - but I could be wrong.

Also while she was leaving court yesterday, she was looking at someone and gave them a quick nod. Who knows what that was about.

I don't think JM 'had' to, I think he chose to Guessing why, might be as simple as to move it along and not have the def drag it through appeal BS etc. JM really had no loss in doing it and he knows that.
