My migraines don't always culminate in pain but I always get the light sensitivity. The worst migraines for me are the ones that start with what's called a "migraine aura" which in extreme cases intrudes on most of my field of vision... I don't get the nausea that some people get.

I still say Jodi is malingering, just like she learned the "symptoms" of an abused woman and parroted them to her DT and experts (used to her advantage) she seems to have learned how to feign a migraine... She may very well "feel sick"... but it's for another reason.

Unlikely the defense wants Leonore after she testified Nicole wasn't a battered woman. This after OJ plead guilty to assault. Dr. Walker, by history, isnt the best expert witness. Alyce IS JA's Leonore.

    To Bermstalker
I don't think the defense is all for Walker, in fact they tried to discredit her yesterday basically saying a newer author, Dutton (I think that's her name) was more up to date. If Walker actually testified for the defense, her theories would totally erase BWS. Does Jodi re-experience the battering? No. Does Jodi avoid activities, people? No. Is Jodi hypervigilant? No. Does Jodi have disrupted interpersonal relationships? No. Does Jodi have body image distortion? No. Does Jodi have sexuality and intimacy issues? No.
If Walker was to testify, it clearly would be for the prosecution.
I'm responding to your remark within a multiquote above.

I was just reading a statement from Lenore about her testimony in the OJ case and I saw that she said:

Speaking generally, she added, "I really believe the Achilles' heel of the battered women's movement is the quick and harsh rush to judgment without enough information."
I wonder what she thinks of the stretch made by good ol' Alyce in this case. Talk about a rush to judgment without enough information!

9:30 Start set, but as usual, unlikely.
Court for Arias case lists a hearing for today also.

Judge Stephens morning before us is other cases---
    Status Conference - Sentencing
Complex / Capital Case - Case Management Conference (3 defendants)
    2 Sentencing - Original
Initial Pretrial Conference - Undesignated ( for 7 defendants!)

Does anyone follow True TV ? It's amazing watching their recaps of the previous day's testimonies etc. Watching JW and her bantering is so much more clear than when you are actually watching the trial. She is sooo trying to trip up JDM on her words. She's almost to the point of being ridiculous.

Can anyone put up a side by side of Jodi yesterday and her mug shot to see the deterioration of Jodi's appearance?

And in my mind I already see the TA comparison ... so sad.
    Thank you

Jodie is loving every minute of this trial! She has complete control. If you watch her close, tells her attorney Jenn, when and what to do and say most of the time. Nurmen has completely turned her off. She is in control of who she decides to look at in the gallary, I mean only a select few are worth her cold dark eyes! She even makes the guard wait for her almost everytime she leaves the courtroom. Now, when court will be called off, because she feels ill. She's glared at wittnesses and smiled at others. It's all a game for her and she wants to be in charge. She sure doesn't look or act like someone with low self-esteem to me. Someone with low self-esteem forone thing, would be petrified to sing in from of prisoners and she looked pretty comfy to me.

And, she's had it on her chin, her cheek, scratched her face, scratched her head etc. One will eventually run out of where to put your hand while you sit for hours.

If she'd pay attention once in a while and give her eyes a rest from writing and drawing, perhaps she wouldn't have eye strain and eye strain causes headaches. But heaven forbid if she looked interested. That jury is pretty stupid if they haven't noticed.

That was the one thing that stood out to me yesterday. She looked like a kid coloring in a restaurant while one of her lawyers is trying to save her life.
"She" tweeted something like "it was Imitrex" awhile back in reference to what pill she was taking so they have her on Imitrex for migraines. Side note: It must be nice to be an inmate because I know that a lot f insurance companies do not pay for Imitrex, so for an inmate to have it...
My opinion is that she faked the "migraine" yesterday. I think the defense knows that they are so far fucked that there is nothing they are going to be able to do to get a not guilty verdict. I think that the stalling is a tactic to wear out the jury and have them start bowing out. Someone posted awhile ago that Nurmi is thinking 2 down, 5 to go. I think that is about right.

Pictures can be deceiving, it depends on what the poster picks for a picture. There's more to it than deterioration. Jodi was much younger and had her freedom 5 years ago. Now, a combination of natural maturity changes are evident. She cannot appear happy at any point now. She eats healthy (we assume she's eating) compared to on the run foods.
As a diet comparison, I've worked in a nursing home, there's almost always a weight loss upon entry because of their home diet. Once in the nursing home, weight loss occurs because the diets provided are balanced,.
    Good question though.

Does anyone have a pic or video of Clancy Talbot? I did see a long haired blonde up by the judge after jury left, but didn't think that's who you're talking about. Thanks.

That is not Clancy. If you watch the trial [links in my sig] you will see this blonde has been sitting where the law students are seated that come to observe under the Judge's program.

yup and doing a bad acting job. lol gulp cough

Thanks to manipulation w repeated court headaches, Arias shows the jury she has a history of headaches completely unrelated to Travis. She successfully causes destruction of testimony that the pedo event was cause for her migraine. Added bonus! She does this on the day a solid expert DX'd her with BPD. Will we hear 'histrionic' following soon? ; )

in 1995 in the L.A. Times she (Lenore Walker) was quoted: "There's no question I'm an advocate for battered women. But I'm also a scientist. Because I will advocate for battered women doesn't mean I will not tell the truth about science," Walker said. "I am not saying O.J. Simpson is not a batterer. What I am saying is because you are a batterer that does not make you a murderer."
    http://articles.latimes.com/1995-01-...battered-women

from that, one could extrapolate, (in this case) "just because someone claims they were abused that does provide justification for murder"
or even that it minimizes the crime in any way...

Totally agree, don't remember JD said that Jodi's parents said that "she has been happy as hell" since she has been in jail.

aw, thanks Morticia. I lurked some but wanted to rest and observe mostly. Did you notice that one the day mother Arias hears the news of BPD she doesn't shed a tear or flinch once. She was asking to have the candy passed. It's the first time I had a small pang of sympathy for JA. DeMarte is a good solid witness but I doubt BPD is JAs only dx. MMPI isn't a good test for catch psychopathy. And, pychopath in women research is beginning to show is linked strongly to psychopathy. It is probable that if Dr D was smart enough to catch it, that part wasn't allowed in.
