I actually like this judge for now. Just think of all of the stress and pressure that is on her due to the fact this case is so hi profile. Plus I'm sure she is going to do everything in her power to make sure there is NO reason for a mistrial or no reason for appeal based on anything that SHE did. I actually get the impression she is more on the side of the state and HATES the defense, but she has to "baby" them so they don't cry mistrial, which they still try to do of course...

It does get super annoying when the defense gets their way when they really shouldn't though.

I'm going to have to diagnose Small Man Syndrome on Juan too, he has issues. He can't just say "Dr. Samuels" in the normal flow of questioning. Must be ten times now. It has to be "Excuse me, (clears throat) DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOKKKTOOOOR Samuels..."

Hate all you want, Juanbeliebers, but his case is far too strong to call for such theatrics. He's trying to clown the defense and they did a fine job of clowning themselves.

I do agree that it looks unbecoming of Juan to emphasize the the word "doctor" when speaking about Samuels. He sounds sarcastic when he does it.

He referred to Dr Demarte as Miss. I don't think he is doing it to be disrespectful. He's just in a flow and is focused on his questions, not titles. Defense looks stupid for making a big deal about it. IMO.
