Yes it made me wonder if Flores decided to deny knowing that to the media for some reason. Maybe he thought all of it would go against her in court some day..
I know we aren't supposed to make sense of Jodi. But don't understand why she decided to go back to the first story and then 2 weeks later decided to stick with the ninja story.
