Obviously Travis is still alive in the picture, and there's that other pic with Travis sitting down in the shower (which he also appears to be alive). I dunno...I just have to believe Juan got something rather substantial in return for this stipulation.
Someone said she had to be eye level with Travis when the face pic was taken, hence he had to be sitting. Because if he was standing, he was 5'9" tall and she is about 5'6" tall. I am going to be so pissed off if this case is lost because of someone saying her story was true due to a retina image.

{sigh} It all seemed so "open and shut" in the beginning... I hope Juan's rebuttal case brings hope back into my life.
Alot of people have alot riding on Juaninator's rebuttal and their hopes he can tie it all into a nice neat bow for the jury.Let's hope for Justice he can do that.

I just don't understand why JM would allow that stipulation. Defense will say she was in his image w a camera. Proves her story was true when she took the pics. I am sick about this.

Where are y'all getting that Bryan the photo dude won't be testifying? Who's going to explain this stupid theory...whatever it is?

They were never considering murder, she confessed she killed him.

I'm really confused by this decision. How in the world does it benefit the prosecution? Seems like a huge win for the defense. Would love to know where Martinez is going with this.
JM is in the same position he was as if this day never happened and doesn't have to deal with hours of retina shit.

I just think JM couldn't discredit Bryan that much. For goodness sakes, the guy is working some cases for them (the state) right now.

If anything....the jury is going to look harder at that picture of Travis trying to figure out why the judge said Jodi was not holding a knife or gun in that picture.

I agree. Who cares who HLN says has a "win" today. Maybe they're trying to get on Nurmi's good side so he'll stop picking on them.

I agree Wasthinking, bring on rebuttal!!

I'm a bit annoyed that the defense didn't rest today so that means their case isn't done

How much time is there between 5:29:20 and the ceiling shot? I think there was plenty of time between those photos to retreive a weapon from wherever she had it.
ETA: 5:31:14. Almost 2 minutes between those two photos.
She had them in her back pack.

Damn, I hate that blonde defense attorney on HLN. She is probably in cahoots w the defense team. She never has a nice thing to say about JM.

Let the defense think they have their "win", based on the time sequence between the close up of TA's face and the ceiling shot that leaves plenty of time for her to retrieve her knife, which I think she had in her purse or backpack beside the bathtub or in it.
100% agree. The entrire prosecution is ... she came prepared! '

That is exactly my question! The retina photo is coming in, so how is it explained? I hate this decision.

They said on TV that the face pic had to be of him sitting down due to the heights of Travis and Stabby. So, is the face pic just the upper half of the lower sitting shower pic? I always thought they were one of the same photo - meaning he was sitting down and she shot his lower half, then face.

Let the defense and HLN pee all over themselves over the stipulation.
JM has rebuttal with Wal-Mart and Tesoro to prove the 3rd gas can. He has Dr Demarte to bury what's left of Samuels and Alyce. He has evidence that Stabby's story of jumping on shelves to grab gun is bullshit and who knows what from his own computer expert.

    Bring on rebuttal!

I dont know. I was asking how they are going to tie this in w the judge's comments? Is the retina photo - meaning the enlarged photo of his retina, coming in?

Still waiting outside. Nurmi just poked his head out and asked Bryan to come inside. #jodiarias

Judge is dismissing the jury. #JodiArias

Bryan was a small part, he was only in there under a half hr. That means Alyce hearing was the big time sucker.

I have a friend who lives in CA. He said it is not uncommon for people out there to carry gas in their car when they cross the desert. When I heard she had gas cans, I thought premeditation.

I tend to agree and my first thought was THANK GOD. But then again, it would make the defense look like idiots again(IMHO). So six of one, half dozen of the other. but in actuality, it would be a total waste of time.

So the defense does not get to argue that she is in the image of his retina? Will they do this in closing?

But that is my point, they don't need a scenerio, she confessed so she obviousloy killed him. All they have to do is decide if it was self defense and that ship is sunk IMO

I live in the desert and it's not common here. I just think that's pretty weird.

I missed what happened. So, does this mean the Bryan guy won't testify, the defense will use the retina image in their closing arguments?
