I am familiar with all that but .. it still holds there is no evidence Washington was Matt's atty ever.

The court 'advisory council' is only referring to VW because it was when killer was pro se and VW was 2 chair but still JAs atty. She couldn't represent Matt, no judge would have allowed that at that hearing. And there is absolutey no evidence of threats from JM. But simply impeaching him, it was enough to knock him off the def list, he didn't need to personally threatened Matt. He did it in a way that forced the def not to use him.

I sense that ALV has a disconnect from people and reading them. As she is in psychology by profession, I'm surprised she's devoid of being able to be more in tune with emotion. She tries too hard to sound knowledgeable and book smart neglecting her sense of reading people.

I really don't think Alyce was completely innocent or a pawn used by the defense. I think she has had this "all men abuse, all women are victims" mentality for a long, long time. She obviously has never been challenged about her biases before, judging by her behavior when Martinez cross examined her. She has been able to peg men as abusers for several years, and everyone has given her the benefit of the doubt. She never stopped to think a woman could be lying, even if that woman was a known liar. I believe, like Dr. Samuels, the woman is a fraud.

Not necessarily true. The defense team should be blamed here, not Alyce. The defense is the well-spring of information that they can choose or not choose to give out to their expert witnesses. It seems obvious to me that Alyce did not get everything she needed or should have had. This is the defense's fault, not Alyce.

lmao, this is getting to be a telephone game. I was referring to Victoria Washington's conflict / withdrawl as sealed. There is no evidence that conflict was because she represented Matt IOWs.

I think it was JM who established that she lied during cross. According to Alyce, lying about something doesn't make someone a liar (Stabby). However, Travis was a big fat liar because he pretended to be a Virgin. Her exact testimony is very difficult to recall due to her tendency to ramble on and on and on.

So what the fuck went so wrong with Laviolette's testimony? Put aside your hatred and knee-jerk responses and think. On the surface she seems like a good choice. Folksy, easy to understand, experienced, well known in her field, published author. She had some decent evidence to work with, that would at least show emotional abuse and a volatile relationship.

Why did she take the case?

No, Travis maybe was abusive....to a sociopath...he knew she was a sociopath. He relayed it to her. Has anyone dealt with a sociopath in an intimate relationship? They're maddening. No reasoning with them. The problem here seems to be that no PROFESSIONAL BEHAVIORAL SPECIALIST has been able to diagnose Jodi in a final way...for whatever personality disorder or mental illness she has. Why is this is?

Thanks for the spelling correction. Your expertise lies in psychiatry true... You are a medical doctor able to prescribe drugs to those who have mental disorders. However, you are not a psychotherapist nor an expert counselor in domestic violence abuse. Correct? Do you have any therapeutic credentials in "Domestic Violence Abuse"? Obviously you must be able to understand mental illness in order to prescribe drugs for the many mental illnesses present in our society but you are not a psychotherapist, nor a domestic abuse counselor correct? Or are we misunderstanding each other? Your degree, your work/expertise was /is in psychiatry, right?
