I know it's been posted before hundreds of pages back, but does anyone have a rebuttal witness list?
Also, Jodi's journal entries from after the murder only came out recently, right? I don't think the jury has seen them (correct me if I'm wrong) and Alyce said yesterday she hasn't seen them. Since Jodi basically writes lies in them ("OMG I just found out Travis was killed, who would do such a thing?" etc.) I wonder why this is. Both sides used the journals a lot, why not the COMPLETE journal? Was the defense somehow able to keep them out? If so, why?
Lots of questions this morning!
House is a disaster, I look like shit, and I forgot to pay my mortgage. I do some stuff in the AM then a little more during the lunch break, but I MUST keep up with MDS too. Hope it moves along once JM starts Rebuttal. After 2 months of defense bullshit, I am ready for the focus of this trial to get back to the horrendous murder of Travis Alexander.
Jodi better journal or do whatever she can to remember each and every moment of her days in court because soon that is all they will be, distant memories. It will be the last time she wears street clothes, the last time she rides the prison bus, the last time she gets to interact with people on the outside on a daily basis. These will be part of her "good old days" that she will be talking about forever. I can only imagine how she will embellish these stories when she tells them to her new friends on death row. Might be difficult in solitary confinement....but I'm sure she will find a way to get her stories to the others...afterall I'm sure they have a right to know how bad she has had it!

I have been thinking the exact same thing. Soon she'll be on death row alone in a cell (smaller than Travis' closet) 23 hours a day with only 3 showers a week and 1 hour a day outside alone. No more than one allowed outside at a time on death row. She's about to lose her BFF JW soon. The last person who left her was slaughtered and Alyce will no longer be paid $250 hr to visit Jodi, so we can pretty much say bye bye to nurse LaV and Dr Dick too. As they say on SNL buh bye!

This jury is trying to send the message that they get it! I think Jodi is going to need her migraine medication today. If she thinks this is bad...just wait till Juan gets to closing arguments!
Me too...maybe Juan Martinez said "listening to Jennifer Willmott's redirect is worse than an anal probe." (The cameraman caught an epic eyeroll from him during her redirect and he rocked back in his chair an "OMG please just kill me now!" look on his face.)

Exactly Gigiann, unless her (soon to be non existant) supporters are gonna flood her with mail, she is about to be relying solely on the guards for any kind of human contact. I had to laugh about the whole exchange when Jodi was up on the stand, she was wanting to go into a a full blown lie of how it wasn't her and Juan didn't let her go there, just put the info up, no questions, let the jury decide. Notice too the defence didn't touch it with a barge pole either.

Great post! I got sucked into the trial from the beginning and now i just wait until it hits youtube cause i'm a lazy ass and sleep all day :) BUT i am excited because i'm up and ready to watch! I can't wait for that!! It's going to be awesome!! I only have a few vac days left...so I have to be VERY careful and not waste one and end up having court canceled the day I try to schedule it.

I noticed this too. And so typical that instead of being upset with Jodi for lying to her, or the DT for withholding information, she uses every opportunity to take it out on the one person who really had no choice in her being up there.
I agree. Having sex in a laundry room with an ex one time while there is a St. Patrick's Day party going on downstairs while being single but not sure if he is, does not make one a whore. One lie does not a liar make. The patterns dictate the validity of the label.

I just went back and watched the 48 Hours program. Even though WE know about the lying, I do NOT see how ALV fell into the trap. Jodi indeed was convincing. Why did Alyce not question how someone could be that blatent, go on TV, tell that story so convincingly, yet still take the case?
Money should not have been a "need" for her, she already had a lucrative business without putting in more time with the case.

This woman is so judgemental and "debasing" of Travis' early childhood and she can't see it as him overcoming those times and ended up in a career he liked and had a strong faith? She should give him kudos, instead of being so low to respond with what she learned about TA by talking about other kids making fun of him cause he didn't shower and him eating moldy bead. Yeah some victims advocate she is!!
