I know nothing about a Susan, other than she is listed on the court record. But the one everyone has been labeling MIT in court, is Maria DeLaRosa and that is her in both lunch and supper pics that have come out.

Is it legal to suspend her account?

Is it really suspended, or did they disable it due to the (I'm just guessing) high amounts of hate messaging they have gotten?

I'm torn about the whole thing. On the one hand, of course it's disgusting that she has one. On the other hand, I don't know that there's anything actually wrong with it. While Jodi gave up many privileges and rights, I'm not sure freedom of speech is actually one that prisoners lose. I could be wrong, but I don't think so.

Now, I have a theory, and it makes me mildly nervous. I've noticed on HLN's After Dark that the 'jurors' will sometimes ask questions that make me think they're leaning one way, but when it comes time to vote, they go in the opposite direction.

Is anyone concerned that this same thing applies to this jury? I realize that HLN's show is pretty much junk, but I'm curious as to what you all may be thinking.

This is not directed at rd, lot's of people have said similar things so this is just a general kind of observation.

I DO NOT believe for one minute that Jodi is innocent, but at some point last week the same witch trial thought crossed my mind & when I keep seeing comments about it I feel like I'm being hypocritical for not owning up to it. I think you'll find the comment has nothing to do with any similarity between Jodi & the women falsely accused of witchcraft in towns all over the world. It refers solely to the reaction of those watching the trial.

I am not making a blanket statement that every single person showing an interest in following the trial or discussing it online is unhinged & whipping up hysteria over the case. Here, and on many other forums there IS reasonable, rational & WARRANTED discussion, but there's an awful lot of unnecessary crazy shit too. You need to consider the statement in relation to the entire web & not just mds (which also has it's moments). Applying the statement selectively is a little bit ALV -ish.

There's an awful lot of blogs, fb pages, twitter, myspace, comments on news articles -the much discussed book review page on Amazon had over 550 reviews as of yesterday & it was climbing by the minute. This is no longer just a national issue for the U.S. This stuff is coming from all over the world - personally I'm about as far away as you can get from the actual trial. There is a massive world-wide reaction to this trial & that is what I think you'll find they're referring to. Comparing Jodi to the women victimised in the witch trials is not the intention.

If your whole trial experience comes almost exclusively through mds & live feeds, you're not getting the whole picture & it could seem an unreasonable statement. I fully expect to be subjected to a figurative stoning & accused of being a Jodi sympathiser for saying this. That's ok. I realise emotions are (justifiably) running high right now, maybe some of you will understand just a little where I'm coming from, after the dust has settled, maybe not.

One fact that can't be denied though, is that while it can be argued that there may be as many men suffering domestic violence at the hands of female partners, when it comes to domestic violence HOMICIDE women FAR outweigh men as victims. The long rollcall of female names is very sobering. Despite that fact, there has never been an outpouring of collective outrage like this, even for all those murdered women & children combined. Maybe that could add some perspective?

Anyone who compares the acts of Jodi Arias to the hysteric Salem or the "same" Witch Trials ( no supernatural Witches, just independent women here....so let's be factual - "The Salem Women Trials" is the correct term) is only creating the usual unnecessary drama required for the infotainment news networks to cash in and visa-versa on the bewildered herd, otherwise known as us, the public.

thanks lisa. I know Susan has been on the court history we've never seen her attend anywhere being identified. Could just be a change they never made, or Maria being new has to have a supervisor over seeing her. I only know the dingbat that is in court everyday and got busted passing JA notes to SA is "Maria".

Yep, I noticed the same thing. The jury seems pretty sharp. I hope they caught that too. I'd be willing to bet Martinez did. He might bring it up on his follow up.

USA Today did a piece on poor ALV being cyberstalked by thousands. She apparently had to go to the emergency room having an "anxiety attack and palpitations."

This jury is far from stupid.....and, then there is deliberation. It is not as simple as them going in, taking a vote, and saying "Oh well, one of us disagrees! Sorry, everyone!!" The evidence against Jodi is overwhelming....and Jodi's behavior eliminates any slight doubt that anyone may have had, when this case started. She is disgusting, in every way.

PS...I took those few questions to actually be affirming that DM did not fit Jodi's claim of "battered woman" defense.

Does the juror have to explain why he thinks the way he does? Can you have a juror who refuses to change a vote or take part in the deliberations but obstinately says I do not buy first degree and no matter what any of you say I am not changing my mind!

Anyone notice Jodi's twitter account followers? I noticed this morning when the news broke she had about 900 followers. She now has over 10,000 followers. My guess is that Jodi didn't like how few followers she had so she had Donovan talk to the media for her to boost her follower base.

When I first saw it this morning, she only had a little over 500 followers... I can't believe how much it has grown.
