In response to an earlier poster's question about whether Jodi has a mirror in jail, it's a stainless steel type one that is nearly impossible to see in.

However, I don't think Jodi gets dressed for trial in jail. If I recall correctly from the Casey Anthony case, she was transported to the courthouse in her stripes, and she prepared and dressed herself in the courthouse. She wasn't allowed to have street clothes at the jail at all. I imagine it's the same with Jodi - her clothes are searched after whoever brings them in and the clothes she wears to court are never at the county jail. I am sure she does her hair in the courthouse as well.

So who brings the clothes? Wilmott? Is she the one who is color coordinating so they look like the Bobbsy twins?

I'm a day behind so this may have been posted already, but I noticed the "tied to the victim's actual bed in the courtroom" story has alrea dy been mentioned a couple of times in this thread.*A crime show on the case screened again in Australia just a week or so ago, so I'm able to tell you it was the Susan Wright case her "fog" lasted a whole week following her attack on her husband, during this time she claimed she didn't know he was dead despite having having buried him -she said she just threw dirt on him because she hoped it would stop him getting up & continuing his (alleged) attack on her. Sadly for her, even Jodi's ninja story was less ridiculous.

Excommunication is RARELY done as it is seen as the most severe punishment and is only reserved for the most severe of circumstances. It also has to be approved by a full panel, the bishop does not have the authority alone for that because it is so major. A convicted murderer would be excommunicated, or an acting pedophile may as well - it is reserved for the most serious of sins. While sexual sins are very serious in the church, especially to the level that Travis was taking it, he would more likely have faced "disfellowship" which is a time where he can not participate in certain ordinances (going into the temple, partake of the sacrament, giving priesthood blessings...etc.) but not excommunication. I know several people that did things of a similar level and the worse they faced was disfellowship, and some not even to that level, just a long repentance process. Just FYI. :)

And one could surmise that the Prosecution's stance and witnesses are also one -sided. It goes both ways. All that matters is that one piece of evidence that can destroy reasonable doubt. What so far is that piece of evidence in the scope of this trial?
