I am extremely familiar with the bible. It is not about taking the bible literally. Yes, he may have been a bad Mormon, but he did go to his priest and confess before his death. He knew he wasn't perfect. You make it sound like the Mormons would have ex-communicated him.

Alyce tells jury she can get full story/both sides despite TA being dead because "Duh!Stabby told me and I made sure I didn't see anything that would poison my mind against her"
Alyce just cannot see any evidence that Stabby was a perpetrator and just cannot be a psychological abuser because the defense hid all that evidence from her.
