IIRC (yes I have a bad memory JM) the phone was found while the aunt was cleaning the car two years later (2010). This is the one she said was stolen in her diary. In her testimony she pointed to her aunt in the audience and said she found it while cleaning her dads car. JA remembered she lost it in 2008 while picking up Chinese food.

    Or someting similar to that.:)

Is Alyce being cyberstalked? No. Is she facing backlash? Yes.

Alyce has basically stated that Travis is a woman beating pedophile in open court for a fee, not because she believes in Jodi but because she gets paid. You reap what you sow. In these days of social media and instant connectivity, the public has a voice, the public can give feedback and let's not forget dear old Alyce has something to sell, so the public can choose to line her pockets or not.

Alyce should think more about being a professional in the way she testifies than trying to think up witty retorts to toss at the prosecutor and making a mockery of the trial and the court and especially the victim. And I've no doubt her conduct was more than admonished by the judge when they met in chambers, so the defence can plant all the stories in the media that they want but I think people are smart enough to figure whats what.

This is very possible. She did ask if they found the check and would they cash it. JA made several calls to TA on 6/3 also I can't recall the duration though.

Just want to make mention of the co-author of Alyce's book, that lady I feel very sorry for, she did not ask for a shit storm and I can imagine she is mortified at all the reviews being left under her book.

This is the phone that was stolen/lost for two years until she decided to cop self defense.
I could be wrong, but I believe that they are looking at the texts on Travis' phone. I seem to remember his were labeled "Outgoing" and hers "Incoming". I don't know if they were able to retrieve texts from her phone. Someone who has been following this case longer than me (2 months), might have that answer.

At first, I thought perhaps the texts just weren't there, and that they were deleted. But, I recall Martinez saying to LaVa (yesterday or Tuesday) that Jodi was able to look back at months worth of texts on Travis' phone. I think he said 6 month's worth and LaVa said she wasn't sure how many, but months' worth. That would tend to make me think that the texts Jodi sent Travis were still in his phone, but they're not allowed to be brought in, because they would paint the cold-blooded murderer in a bad light. Go figure!

I don't have any experiences with those kind of shelves, so I can't say. But, I believe it could be that they were unsteady and would've flipped. But, if that's not the case, I can still see why the defense wouldn't have brought it in. First off, the clothing would've been messed up. Secondly, Jodi would've had to put her left hand on something to climb the shelf and would've left fingerprints. I assume they dusted and didn't find them where Jodi claimed. And thirdly, there is a very clear picture in evidence which shows a nice-sized bench in the closet. Few people would likely believe that given the bench to step up on, that Jodi would've opted to monkey-climb the shelf system, imo.

For any or all of those reasons, I think that (if the shelves don't flip with weight), they just don't want to remind jurors of the other implausibilities in the story -- no fingerprints, no messed clothing and no using the bench.

When I look at the bloody sink picture....all I can think of is, that's where he was shot. At the sink. Lots of people are saying he coughed up blood there, and that's what its all from. But when I look at the specs of blood, to me I can totally see him being shot in the head, and the blood spattering in that direction. But then again, I think I remember them saying the bullet didn't exit...so that leads me more to think I'm probably not right.
The bullet did not have an exit wound...it was recovered in his left cheek. The ME also testified that he found no evidence of bleeding associated with that wound, and surmised that the gunshot wound came either very close to death or after death. The blood patterns at the sink indicate that he was standing when that blood was left and they were likely from the stab wounds to his chest area. We know that he then managed to crawl or stumble down the hall, where his throat was cut and he bled out heavily.

blood splatter experts say high-velocity blood spatter actually becomes like a "mist" and produces drops "less than 1 mm in diameter" What's on the sink (as I understand it) is "aspirated blood spatter" and he would have definitely had blood in his airway, no matter what wound came first.

I totally agree with you. She ruined her own career, in open testimony she even said she may not have a job after this. This isn't anyone else's doing but her own. I'm not for calling her or sending her emails etc this is cyber stalking IMO. I also wouldn't leave a review of her book as I haven't read it. If I cared (and I don't) I might would leave a review on her therapist page because I would never recommend her based on her testimony and beliefs she has presented forward. I belive she was a 1.01=very bad last I looked.

Don't forget, Jodi Arias was indebted to Travis in the amount of $6,000.00 and she was bringing a check. As pissed off as he might have been with her, he had to maintain some sort of contact until he got his money back. This may seem trivial now that he's dead, but if Travis was feeling some kind of financial pressure, he was, (like so many others caught in the real-estate crash) especially susceptible to wishful thinking that somehow things would work out. Those were times where people were significantly into denial about the reality of their financial situation and misplaced hope was significantly a part of their everyday lives. When someone owes you as much money as Jodi Arias owed Travis, he would be inclined to bite his tongue and play along for fear of never getting it backi. In that sense, she had him by the shorts.

From what I read the defense wants to keep out b/c there is no way of knowing now, 5 years later what type shelving was in the closet in 2008. Which makes sense, unless the current owners will attest that they have not changed the shelves.

Hopefully she can have ALV's name removed or just listed as research or something as I heard ALV's name wasn't on it originally. I'm not sure if that correct or not though. It's very sad.

So I was wondering has anyone ever been blocked by the JA site so the page doesn't load? Made a comment about the distasteful pic they were promoting today: just that it was in bad taste for anyone. Seems like Simon blocked me out?

    @Jodiannarias

But how can Jodi Arias use Twitter from jail? She doesn't have a computer. She does it through this woman -- Donavan Bering -- a close friend Jodi talks to almost every night on the phone.

    *snipped*

Jodi has not been convicted, which means the sheriff's department can't stop her from selling her artwork.

Her attorneys know she is tweeting, and apparently they aren't very happy about it.

I can't wait until this fact changes. Soon, people. Conviction is coming soon.

the defense pleadings to supress say (paraphrasing) "because there is no way to recreate the actual shelves and conditions that existed on Jun 4 2008" (they have a point)

and besides with Alyce revealing a lie by Jodi on this topic I thing the whole "gun in closet" idea is pretty much impeached already.

BBM - I posted awhile back that some that have been stalked also liken cutting off communication with the stalker as being in shark infested waters, you don't know where the shark is. They are nice and placate them to try to keep peace so to speak. Also TA being a man may have also had trouble even though he was extreamly afraid of her wanted to belive at the same time she wouldn't physically do anything to him, especially since they had some sort of relationship. idk

One thing that I notice-Jodi and Travis had a lot of the same girl and guy friends on myspace.

There's also somebody named DIAMANTE that is friends with both. I do believe that is Victor who Jodi use to see.

Yes some of my friends experienced this they block your IP, I never registered there personally, but I do know they will post your email address if they declare you a "troll" so be careful if you don't want your email address out there.

The State vs Jodi Arias ~ Travis Alexander murder trial
According to Chris Stark on Twitter, the barrage of cyber hate toward LaViolette was the subject of lengthy meetings in the judge's chambers on Monday. Apparently the stress sent the DV expert to the emergency room last weekend. She presented with anxiety and heart palpitations.

Jodi didn't claim self defense and tell that story until at least 2 years after the killing. I don't know that they would have had a reason to check for fingerprints at the top of the shelves when they were at the crime scene in June 2008. Jodi was claiming she wasn't there and then the ninjas for quite awhile.
I guess they could have dusted for them up there but I really doubt they would have thought there was any reason to at the time.
And yes we do already have the photo with everything in its place. No evidence that any action happened in that closet whatsoever.

    Good point.

And all we know about this topic is that the defense knows Det. Flores did some testing at the house. We don't know if the State plans on bringing this particular evidence in. Just that the defense doesn't want it in already.

Yep, we've seen it but the reporter who wrote the story was very biased IMO. ALV didn't go to the hospital because of the Internet barrage. She went knowing she was going to get reamed out on Monday for improperly approaching Sam on Thursday. The reporter does not know what happened in judges chambers.
