Thread: Jodi Ann Arias shot and stabbed her ex-boyfriend Travis Alexander to death (Part II)

  1. #7226
It kills me that Travis was so publicly visible in life, bright & glowing, and Jodi was just a wannable skulker. Now Travis is public in ways he'd never want to be (his sex life & death photos) while Jodi struts & glows in her notoriety. I was looking at those awful photos of him in death when HLN was replaying Alyce nattering about how Jodi was abused & defending herself - Can't you see all those stab wounds in the man's back Alyce!!!! And can't you see she was doing it to him figuratively before she ever did it literally??
What really pisses me off is what Alyce knows very well and refuses to say when she insists T had no fear - that exes who stalk DO terrify their ex, and make their lives so horrific that when the stalker finally says "I know I did wrong, I know I need to let you go live your life, I will do that if you just let me be your friend with no expectations beyond that" it's not unusual for the ex to seek relief in that and try to continue a different relationship just to get peace & normality back. But the stalker knows their achille's heels, and will take advantage. I've been there, when I was hurt or upset I'd come home to flowers at the door, if I had a problem he'd solve it, he'd bring dinner, and just be a shoulder and an ear. I'd be in awe that he knew I was hurting or had a problem when I hadn't told him, I didn't understand stalking. For Travis I expect Jodi offered just sex and encouraged his talk & pursuing of other women, which made him believe she meant she was letting him go (while rage built up inside her doing it)...
Alyce of all people must recognize this so-common "I'll let you go" ploy in stalkers, yet Alyce brushes off red flags of gifts at Bobby's door when he'd said "leave me alone", she ignores that T & J had broken up (because he told her she was too much), but continued a relationship (because she told him it was just sexual but he was free), then she conveniently moved to his town, then into his home cleaning it, and then became too intrusive again, and he told her to leave him alone, and she moved away, but didn't let go, and came back to kill him - Alyce knows much more about Jodi's proclivities & propensities than she will admit to on the defense's dollar.

I rest my fucking case. You were in the courthouse one time and Martinez made you talk about anal. He is obsessed with the butthole.

The criminal arsonist helping a killer, not surprising. If that is their kicks for the day, go for it. Verdict day isnt far off lets see how psycho and her low life pal laugh that day off.
Speaking of short, she is pretty damn funny stuck with those 2" pencils. Juan is a free bird, living a life these two losers will never know.

I just caught a couple of minutes of Nancy Grace from the 5 PM airing. They were still airing the trial, pretending that it was live. Willmott was doing redirect and Nancy said that the courtroom seemed as if all the air was sucked out of it after Martinez sat down, and that LaViolette looks so tired and empty. A defense attorney (Peter Odom) answered, "That's because Martinez has been yelling at her for a week and a half!" Since when did 2 1/2 days become a week and a half? Nancy didn't correct him, unfortunately. If a network insists on making money off of murder victims, the least they could do is care about accuracy in reporting, and knock off the immaturity of telling their audience the trial is still going on live when it's long over. I'm so glad that I found out about live stream on the computer so that I never have to watch that awful network again.

all I did on this site was post her Jr college yearbook photo but I didn't insult her in anyway. I'll criticize her testimony and maybe question her integrity but I'd never confront her on a personal level... that's not right. I was actually researching her background to try and understand why she might have adopted some of the views she has.

Much to my joy, the jury holding cell is on the first floor of the East Court building. The trial is on the 5th floor. After two jury group go rounds, I got dismissed. Bummer. I went up to the 5th floor to scope it out. It was a ghost town, except for one witness that was waiting to be called. No one in the outside chairs. I took me about an hour to get up the nerve to go in. I didn't know how big the room was and certainly didn't want to call attention to myself. After going through two sets of doors, I stood at the back trying to figure out where to sit. JA side on the right, TA the left. The only seats on TA side available were the furthest from me. I didn't want to do the "excuse me, pardon me" movie theater thing. Draws too much attention. So I see the whole front row available next to Stabby's mom and aunt. I go up there and make my move. Stabby's aunt puts her leg up on the wood barrier to block me and says "who the hell are you?" (TRUE STORY) I stand there speechless. Now I am definitely noticed. Ah shit. I'm picturing me, the idiot, who disrupted the trial on the evening news. So, luckily, Stabby Mom says to her sis, "it's ok, there is plenty of room" My heart was pounding. I take my seat. The testimony that day was some boring cell phone expert, so I spent the time observing JA and the jury. On the jury...three stand out. Of course, number 5, due to the tri-colored hair. An older gentlemen with a long white ponytail wearing head to toe denim (he sits alone on a bench out front during every break, but probably doesn't anymore) And then a short, Hispanic male, mid 30's, with a ponytail. He tripped me out due to his outfit of khaki shorts, tennis shoes, and a concert tee. Who wears this shit to sit on a jury??? No one impressed me. I remember thinking, "oh god, I hope these people get it." I put two seats between me and Stabby Mom (ya never know, like daughter, like mother) I was directly behind JA but she was kind of far away. The courtroom is huge. I saw the back of her head mostly. She looks very thin and frail. Her clothes were way too big and her hair way too 10 year old. This on purpose of course. Unlike her shenanigans these days, she did not turn around. During afternoon break, I end up in the ladies room with Travis's sister at the sinks. If you think she looks skinny on tv, you should see her in person (camera adds 10 pounds) It just breaks your heart to imagine what she has been going through. I gave her that "I'm sorry" smile in the mirror. She returned the smile. Then to make a long story longer, I'm waiting for the elevator standing next to Super Juan. I'm only 4 foot 11. I looked him in the eye. Guessing that he is about 5 foot 3 maybe 4. Elevators are horrible in this building. He says to this guy, "the elevators in this building are worse than an anal probe." (TRUE STORY) Me, Juan, and the guy bust out laughing. I smile at him all the way down in the elevator. He smiles back. He seems like a very like-able genuine guy. Makes me understand his passion even more. After 3pm break, I make sure to get there early so as not to be yelled at by Stabby aunt. I take my seat behind the Alexander family and in front of Radaronline peeps. After court, I leave for my car and a local reporter with a camera chases me down and wants to know how I am related to JA. Huh? I explain that I am an observer. He seems disappointed. We chat for a few minutes. Before he leaves me, he says, "just so you know, the front row is reserved for family members." Well, EXCUSE ME. I must brush up on my death penalty etiquette. I guess it's like a wedding. Who knew? I have thought about going back until I saw a guy dancing out front in a bunny suit on the news. It's getting weird people. Sorry for droning on. I thought you all would enjoy. I would love to read other stories. Please share.
your not droning on at all! your story is awesome! and because of it I admire super Juan even more now and my heart has another crack in it for Travis's family, the empathy that I had for Stabby's mother & aunt...... not so much anymore. I hope you sit in on court again and share your experience again, it's a treat to hear what goes on beyond what we hear on TV and for those of us that live much too far away to attend ourselves, it's almost like being there........................
    THANKS FOR SHARING

That was really interesting, Placroix! Thanks for sharing your details. Fascinating that you interacted with Jodi's mom and aunt, and that you got to sit so close to Jodi, and especially that you got to share a laugh with Juan. Every little story I hear about him just makes him sound more like someone it would be fun to know.

I like Juan very much, but when I read Placroix' post I was disappointed with Juan's joke at the elevator. It just sounds less sophisticated than I would have imagined him to be in public (courtroom-steps scene notwithstanding). But, I hesitatingly agree that it fed into your musings quite well, and you seem very insightful at this moment.

She already is and apparently restricted in the ability to wash her hair and shower. She's a greasy stringy mess in some ugly ass clothes. She's about due for her herpes outbreak, Donovan had them all over her ugly mug last week. They should sign up on twitter as 'two crusty scabs'

That's why Martinez was trying to get things back on track by repeatedly forcing Alyce to talk about anal sex and lube. I think the focus of the rebuttal case will be on anal sex, since that is the main theme of the trial. Almost every witness so far has had to talk about anal. A lot. Did you have anal with Jodi? Was the anal consummated? Did you want anal with Jodi? Did Jodi want anal with you? Jodi did you like anal? Did he jizz in your butt? Did Jodi lie to you about anal sex? Does Jodi have anal warts? Why did Travis always wash the sheets so quickly afterwards? The fingerprint expert might be the only one who escaped talking about the Purple Plum up the backdoor.

Thanks for sharing! You weren't droning on at all

Ah shit. Just wondering...could those things on Donovan's face be meth sores instead of herpes?
