    Which exception?
Lower, there's a pair, appears that there's one that's sort of going in the other direction, the other diagonal.
Could be consistant with victim having back to attacker like this .. ?
    Yes.
We have nine injuries, and they are all clustered together there in the center. Ah, what you're seeing on the upper left side is actually post mortem artifact. there's some skin slippage there and some drying.
Nine. They are stab wounds. They're all about the same depth, about an inch deep. and they're going into the back parts of the ribs and the spine. The spinal bone and stopping there. and none of them to my exam entered the chest cavity. although with decomposition you can't completely rule that out.
1:24:47 Appear to all have been stopped by the bones.
Interesting how different the two pics of his back. The first one being taken at the crime scene prior to placing in the body bag. And then the autopsy photo with the blood washed off

I just looked at the shockingly grotesque pictures of Travis after Jodi butchered him. I can't imagine a jury seeing those and not wanting to lock her away forever or sentencing her to death. I just can't imagine how they could ever give her anything other than murder one.

Rest in peace Travis. I'm so sorry that your last moments on earth were filled with so much terror and pain. :(
I find it extremely disturbing because I do believe there were many elements of truth in that Ninja story she conjured up.

I do think at some point he probably said he could no longer feel his legs.
I also believe at some point in that short attack he probably did ask her to please get help.
I also sometimes think perhaps the gunshot did come first and the gun jammed, just as she described in her Ninja story.
I think she started stabbing him in the back when he was at the bathroom mirror, already injured and disoriented.

It's terrifying to the bone to think of one's final minutes being as horrifying as his had to have been. Whether he was a great guy or a total jerk, no one deserves to ever have the last precious minutes of their lives go down like that. And, even with the "I can't feel my legs anymore," she obviously just kept stabbing and stabbing.

I wish I understood the floor plan of that house better. It's such a dark living quarters and I have a really hard time distinguishing just how far he got before she inflicted the injury to his throat. I can't tell if he almost made it to the bedroom door and down the stairs or if that hallway they show was just a few feet from the bathroom to the bedroom. In any event, one of the most horrific parts to me is that she just relentlessly chased him down to finish the job. It's really beyond my comprehension to even grasp the entire concept yet the proof of how heinous her actions were that day are apparently irrefutable.

Horrifying doesn't even begin to describe it.

so organized Psycho versus unorganized Psycho because he was better at getting away with it. more "clever"? Or is that a clinical classification?

holy crap... I wonder if the Jury will ask to see any of these photos. They talk about things being "prejudicial" one look at those photos and anyone would be ready to give her the death penalty.

Gag- az news on myfoxphoenix just played an 'exclusive' segment saying arias is tweeting via that giant, neon herpes-infested thing, Donovan. Sorry, can't post right now, someone please post that.
It was redonkulous, Big D said arias' tells her what to tweet. Check it out!

My heart hurts so bad like usual but this just takes it to such a higher level of sadness. Fuck, I hope the jury gets to see these too! Death penalty is on it's way. She is such pure evil!

I just hope the trial gets back to more sex. We haven't had anything really pervy in a while. Maybe the next computer witness can play back hours of phonesex. Phone Sex Day was probably the best day of the trial so far.

That's why Martinez was trying to get things back on track by repeatedly forcing Alyce to talk about anal sex and lube. I think the focus of the rebuttal case will be on anal sex, since that is the main theme of the trial. Almost every witness so far has had to talk about anal. A lot. Did you have anal with Jodi? Was the anal consummated? Did you want anal with Jodi? Did Jodi want anal with you? Jodi did you like anal? Did he jizz in your butt? Did Jodi lie to you about anal sex? Does Jodi have anal warts? Why did Travis always wash the sheets so quickly afterwards? The fingerprint expert might be the only one who escaped talking about the Purple Plum up the backdoor.

    clinical.
Organized, Real charmers, the one that friends would be shocked, 'can't see them doing it'. They have social skills for their mask. More control, they pick when, where, how. Usually have added forensic knowledge to their bank of knowlege to better cover their crimes. Well planned murders. Organized crime scene. They each have their own thing, one might target prostitutes, another like Dahmer boys, etc. but they are planned and organized, thought about and controlled. Then troll and hunt for a selected victim able to 'wait' and enjoy this stage, as much if not more than the killing [Dennis Radar loved talking about his 'kill kit' ]

Unorganzied, compulsive, kill as opportunity presents itself rather than hunt and plan, they kill when the impulse hits, therefore less organized, sloppy crimes scene, things they didn't 'plan' for. Kill one by strangling them, another maybe a hammer or whatever is around kind of thing. Loners usually with low IQ, can't fit in, they don't have the social mask organized charmers have and may even be the ones people say were 'always kind of creepy'.

The day the ME was on the stand I believe the jury was shown all the autopsy photos. JM had him go through each one in detail. Now we know what they were talking about

I asked a friend who has been in court since the beginning. These pics were introduced in court as well as a lot more. I am sure they all will be released soon.

what I meant was I wonder if they will ask for them during deliberations? I assume they can review any evidence that was shown in court. Seems a bit macabre for them to do but they might find it necessary.

There are three there I haven't seen since last time I was at that album. The washed back, full face and his driver license.

I agree, anyone can sound 'smart' by reading a dictionary after 5 yrs behind bars. But someone should tell her that HLN is not an acronym, it's an abbreviation.
I WISH one of the witty and techy MDSers would make a fake twitter for her, like JodiNefarias or something... Anyone anyone?

Since a few of you are posting your trial experiences, I thought I would share mine. A few funny things happened. My day goes back to January. I'm a newbie here and still figuring out how to navigate the site like the pros that you all are. I had jury duty somewhere in the middle of January. Much to my joy, the jury holding cell is on the first floor of the East Court building. The trial is on the 5th floor. After two jury group go rounds, I got dismissed. Bummer. I went up to the 5th floor to scope it out. It was a ghost town, except for one witness that was waiting to be called. No one in the outside chairs. I took me about an hour to get up the nerve to go in. I didn't know how big the room was and certainly didn't want to call attention to myself. After going through two sets of doors, I stood at the back trying to figure out where to sit. JA side on the right, TA the left. The only seats on TA side available were the furthest from me. I didn't want to do the "excuse me, pardon me" movie theater thing. Draws too much attention. So I see the whole front row available next to Stabby's mom and aunt. I go up there and make my move. Stabby's aunt puts her leg up on the wood barrier to block me and says "who the hell are you?" (TRUE STORY) I stand there speechless. Now I am definitely noticed. Ah shit. I'm picturing me, the idiot, who disrupted the trial on the evening news. So, luckily, Stabby Mom says to her sis, "it's ok, there is plenty of room" My heart was pounding. I take my seat. The testimony that day was some boring cell phone expert, so I spent the time observing JA and the jury. On the jury...three stand out. Of course, number 5, due to the tri-colored hair. An older gentlemen with a long white ponytail wearing head to toe denim (he sits alone on a bench out front during every break, but probably doesn't anymore) And then a short, Hispanic male, mid 30's, with a ponytail. He tripped me out due to his outfit of khaki shorts, tennis shoes, and a concert tee. Who wears this shit to sit on a jury??? No one impressed me. I remember thinking, "oh god, I hope these people get it." I put two seats between me and Stabby Mom (ya never know, like daughter, like mother) I was directly behind JA but she was kind of far away. The courtroom is huge. I saw the back of her head mostly. She looks very thin and frail. Her clothes were way too big and her hair way too 10 year old. This on purpose of course. Unlike her shenanigans these days, she did not turn around. During afternoon break, I end up in the ladies room with Travis's sister at the sinks. If you think she looks skinny on tv, you should see her in person (camera adds 10 pounds) It just breaks your heart to imagine what she has been going through. I gave her that "I'm sorry" smile in the mirror. She returned the smile. Then to make a long story longer, I'm waiting for the elevator standing next to Super Juan. I'm only 4 foot 11. I looked him in the eye. Guessing that he is about 5 foot 3 maybe 4. Elevators are horrible in this building. He says to this guy, "the elevators in this building are worse than an anal probe." (TRUE STORY) Me, Juan, and the guy bust out laughing. I smile at him all the way down in the elevator. He smiles back. He seems like a very like-able genuine guy. Makes me understand his passion even more. After 3pm break, I make sure to get there early so as not to be yelled at by Stabby aunt. I take my seat behind the Alexander family and in front of Radaronline peeps. After court, I leave for my car and a local reporter with a camera chases me down and wants to know how I am related to JA. Huh? I explain that I am an observer. He seems disappointed. We chat for a few minutes. Before he leaves me, he says, "just so you know, the front row is reserved for family members." Well, EXCUSE ME. I must brush up on my death penalty etiquette. I guess it's like a wedding. Who knew? I have thought about going back until I saw a guy dancing out front in a bunny suit on the news. It's getting weird people. Sorry for droning on. I thought you all would enjoy. I would love to read other stories. Please share.

It's terrible no doubt about that but as bad as it looks after the fact, and not to sound insenstive but, by comparison of many, he did die quickly all things considered. 62 seconds! There are so many worse murders, many including children where these sick SOBs get their kicks out of hours of toture first. How pathetic is this world that I find myself somewhat relieved when I can know it was at least fast.

USA Today did a piece on poor ALV being cyberstalked by thousands. She apparently had to go to the emergency room having an "anxiety attack and palpitations."
