the young guy with the striped shirt took faq's seat when he left during a sidebar or the break, don't remember which. He had a great seat, next to Stacy and Katie. I was going to move up but was told by 18 yr. old student that Stacy had a relative coming in. I am the one holding my purse up it looks like! I was 4th row (of 5) third seat in from the wall. Sandy's row had at the end five empty seats; the row behind her was Alyce's group, including her frail old father. That got down to five empty too. There are seven seats per row, five rows with the front two reserved for whatever reason. That means 21 seats for public. The 18 yr old from Dr. Drew came in when someone left and sat next to me. Two girls to my right left early to pick up children, and two older ladies were brought in. BUT the bailiff came over and questioned the three of us during the break before. We were discussing a juror and kept trying to look at him; someone with i think she said sheriff's office watches gallery by camera, and wanted to find out what we were looking at and talking about, if we saw a juror doing something.

There is so much you don't see in the courtroom. I was there to see the jury! And the one I wanted to see was usually obscured by Flores. I did not see the black thingy on Jodi's arm until I turned on TV when I got home. I could not see the witness through the people in front of me. The gallery seats are very low; a woman next to me commented we needed booster seats. Not faq though, aisle seat is great plus he is tall.

Some of the people I talked to were not very up on the trial. Were not aware of pedo letters, that numi had tried to get off, that you could watch on youtube, defendant sleeping under Christmas tree. One trio there for second time could not remember the witness from first visit, then one of them did ~ none other than defendant!

Oh and a young guy in ASU shirt dozed off; when he let out a chortle the bailiff heard and sent for the seating guy; my neighbors woke him, and he was removed.

I noted each juror. Will put that on later. Did not see anyone taking notes. at 3:30 a younger female had her head back and eyes closed. The younger Hispanic guy swivels in his chair. It is a fairly diverse looking bunch, with several what look to be retirees. One of the men looked to me to keep is gaze an the defendant A LOT, he almost looked mesmerized. At times I thought I could see her looking at him, but not sure. None of the others looked her way. All in all, if anyone is local you really should go down there, it is easy to park and find. You don't stand in line, there is a nice lobby with chairs, like an airport. Restroom right there. you may kick yourself later if you don't! And it was super cool seeing another of 'us' there.

I agree with you, she deserves the death penalty. Not only did she murder a vulnerable man (being naked and wet) she also has no remorse for that crime. She a dangerous person who I believe would kill again if she had the chance.

I am rarely for the death penalty, but this is one of the few cases in which I feel she deserves it. This was above and beyond brutal. She ambushed this poor guy....anyone who could do this kind of damage is one sick fuck.

Damn all you have to do is read any Psych licensing board publication to see there are many in Alyce's club of shame. Any field, evil breeds all the time. Last but not least, I think the emails, texts and IMs are a problem...they don't lie, and they show Travis had a nasty temper, even rage on some of them, and was verbally abusive. Does that explain or justify the overkill? Not to me, but suppose there is a JAII type on the jury, or someone who has experienced abuse in their life...could this resonate with someone like that and/or plant that 'seed of doubt' that maybe Jodi was in fear for her life that day? I wonder...someone on hln said that the defense isn't going for a home run here, they are going for punts and singles, chipping away. I agree and it worries me.

Are people not allowed to become angry over something someone has done? Does that automatically label someone angry as being verbally abusive? If that's the case, everyone I know, including myself has at some point been verbally abusive. It's not a pattern; it's not a character flaw....it's a circumstance. We don't know what set him off. If we do, I missed it. When you look at the whole picture, a day of anger, or even rage as you state, does not make or break the case. And by the way, what is so scary about an IM? It couldn't have been that scary since she still took a trip there. Did he threaten her in those IM's? Since I have not read them (can't find them anywhere), I don't know that he did. It seems folks tend to focus on the testimony last heard. I don't think Miss Alyce is a make-or-break.

Here is what our HLN and In Session producers have noticed about the jury. The following descriptions are intended to give a snapshot of each juror's reaction to Arias' testimony:

Juror No. 1

She is a white female in her 60s and sits closest to the witness stand. She doesn't look at Arias often during her testimony. People in the gallery observed her yawning once during an emotional part of Arias' testimony.

Juror No. 2

He is a white male in his 50s. He takes few notes and usually has his head cupped in his hands as he listens to testimony.

Juror No. 3

She is a white female in her 40s. She takes a lot of notes and often watches prosecutor Juan Martinez as he moves around the courtroom. She has been seen submitting questions.

Juror No. 4

He is a white male in his 60s, and he takes few notes.

Juror No. 5

She is a married, white female in her 30s. She sits on the edge of her seat and is the most visible juror from the gallery because she has a “unique hair style.”

Juror No. 6

She is a white female in her 60s and is also seen taking many notes.

Juror No. 7

He is a white male in his 30s, and he is married. He takes notes and often bites his nails.

Juror No. 8

He is a white male in his 50s and is married. He also takes notes and has been observed submitting questions.

He is a white male in his late 60s to early 70s. He wears an audio-enhancing headset provided by the court. He does takes notes.

He is a white male in his early 60s who often swivels in his chair. He does not appear to be taking notes.

He is a white male in his late 20s or early 30s. He appears to be the youngest member of the jury and takes very few notes. He smiled when Martinez asked Arias if she could predict the future.

My understanding is that i think travis was at the breaking point where he was simply just tired of jodis act. He may have internalized all of these feeling for quite some time, but that instance is where he finally let her know how he really felt, and in that instance he really let her have it

Does that justify what he said during that convo? No. But killing him isnt shouldnt have been the way jodi handled that situation

I agree 100%. To me, they can bring any one up as an "expert witness" but at the end if the day, it doesn't matter, there is nothing anyone could say, to explain away the most heinous murder. Nothing. Jodi has no remorse, at all..the defense is trying SO hard to get the jury to forget who the real victim is and that is Travis Alexander, NOT Jodi!

We have nine injuries, and they are all clustered together there in the center. Ah, what you're seeing on the upper left side is actually post mortem artifact. there's some skin slippage there and some drying.
Nine. They are stab wounds. They're all about the same depth, about an inch deep. and they're going into the back parts of the ribs and the spine. The spinal bone and stopping there. and none of them to my exam entered the chest cavity. although with decomposition you can't completely rule that out.
