There's some unanswered legitimate questions about money. The prosecutor opened that door but couldn't close it. Briefly, (I'll try), Jodi Arias said she left Yreka with approx $200.00 cash. She spent about $185.00 cash buying gas for car and cans. She bought two Strawberry Frappacinos on the way to Mesa. That left her with $10-$15 cash by the time she got to Travis. In her Ninja story, she said the guy took $30.00 she had in her wallet. (Curious aside -- that's the same amount she claimed was stolen from her during the burglary in Grandparent's house on May 28. She likes that number.) Anyways, she said, the Ninja got the $30 bucks from her wallet but didn't get $80.00 she had hidden in her back jeans pocket 'cause the jeans were in her backpack. That adds up to $310 plus or minus. Quite a difference between that and the $200.00 she left Yreka with! How to account for the difference? Did she steal cash from Travis's wallet? She testified she knew that's where he carried his money. That opened the door to the fact that the roommates each paid $450.00 month rent, so, if they paid in cash, has that money been accounted for? Since we don't have access to an exact inventory of Travis stuff, we can only speculate. One thing for sure, Arias talked about more money than the original $200.00. We'll probably never know the exact truth. But, then again, why wouldn't we believe that she'd steal? She murdered. If Martinez could prove she stole money from Travis, she'd be nailed on Felony Murder for sure.

she got her nails done and probably a brazilian wax in salinas. don't know how much those cost in 2008 dollars. She also had the PIN for TA's bank accounts. Lots of loose ends if we follow the money.

We don't know that Travis hadn't already deposited his roommates money for rent. I would assume his mortgage was due on the 1st but who knows. From what I've read (well, his text or maybe an email) he may have been behind in the mortgage payments ("trying to save my house" was I think his words). I don't have any real point to this.

Yeah! The exact amount of cash is a detail that gives a little twist to the narrative. Martinez went on at some length about the bank deposits, starting out cash, gas spending, but never took us anywhere with it. Maybe he was just establishing timelines and sequences. He stressed the starting $200 and the gas purchases for cash and Arias just nodded.

As for Travis stressing out about 'saving his house' he was facing a challenge along with a good number of people in America. He was in righteous company. Ask me how much my Palm Springs place went down in value. Fortunately, I wasn't at risk.

Nevertheless, I can visualize her going through Travis's wallet after she murdered him. Behavior consistent with the devious, lying sneak she was and remains! Ask her Dad.

Sounds "fishy" ~ I don't believe him either. Just like the reporters that descended on Juror #5. They don't care if they cause a mistrial. All they are concerned with is ratings.

I applied a different interpretation to the picture of Travis on the bed with his arm up. That appeared to be the second one of Travis, the first one being the one with his privates showing. In that second picture, it appeares to me that he caught on to her and gestured to her to cut it out. Of course, it's hard to support that speculation if one accepts that Travis took the subsequent pictures of her and her stuff.

I agree, to me it looks like he is resting with eyes closed, hears the sneaky photo bug at work, and tries to cover up. I think he then demanded the worst not erotic pictures he could think of on his camera to keep her from releasing the sex recording. That may have been one of the things that set him off in the text the week prior.

After listening to interrogation tapes, not sure which, as I forgot to jot notes, something she said reinforced my belief he was unaware of her in the bathroom, then under duress when again he sees the sneaky shutterbug at work. She said that after they would have sex, he was very private about showering, and that they were not like a married couple. She said he would never allow her in there while he was showering, and you could not see the shower from the bedroom. Which drove home that she planned to have him trapped back there, preferably in the shower stall. How he got to the carpet is amazing. As horrifying as any Hollywood scene.

One of the things Flores asks her in #12 (or 13?)is if she knew the roommates were due in around 6:30. Or if she was still there when one of them got home and was able to slip ot undetected! That always was a theory I had, that she layed low until she could get out. There is that 1.5 hours between Mesa and Kingman unaccounted for.

In #12, she asks, "what would happen if I confessed". "What is the name of the prosecutor?" answer "Juan Martinez (perfectly accented), the #1 prosecutor in Phoenix". She says she thinks she wants to lawyer up. He can't advise about that, it is up to her. She says the events are "blurry". She was scared driving away, mentions survival instinct kicked in. These videos are time consuming, but I am dedicated and have an inquiring mind.

Real; he has an older daughter that Jodi said she is not close to; then there is Carlton, older and named after Sandy's father (I believe in Redding where she rented the car), then younger brother Joey and sister Angela.

A blue shirt would be nice. Good luck!! Will your wife go? I am going to ride the light rail down there before its over. That is on my bucket list. I just think I will shake like the proverbial chawawa for multiple reasons, mostly excitement when Juan is up but also sadness for the hurt and loss Travis' family has to endure.
