I think you have nailed part of it - in her her previous relationships she says she was the one who chose to walk away. TA was the one doing the walking away this time and she wasn't having it.

Totally. And, she was still interested and intrigued by Travis and the challenge of winning him. Why doesn't this man want me as his girlfriend? Nothing is more attractive to a woman than acting like you're not really serious about her, and telling her that you are seeing other women. "I don't really want a girlfriend right now" translates into "how can I make this man want me for his girlfriend!!!??? At all costs!!!"

If the jury deliberations are anything like this thread we are in for a long wait for the verdict. My impression is that even those who argue about the details seem to think she is guilty, but you never know.

I've been labelled as pro-defense. Even to me, the heinous and pre-planned nature of her crime, coupled with her complete inability to admit any guilt for anything in her life ever, make her deserving of the harshest punishment.

The crime scene photos and physical evidence transcend anything the defense can say. You have gallons of blood and a shell casing vs. a million words of bullshit.

I find the defense case and all their trickery interesting on an intellectual level. I respect their creativity and ability to adapt, like guerilla warfare. I enjoy rooting for the underdog... can the rebel fighters take down the Death Star? Maybe with a dirty trick, but we all know the Death Star comes back for Round 2. Return Of The Jodi.

Question about Jodi's journals. Do we know how long she has been writing them? Since a kid/teen I presume. But, not only is there no mention of supposedly abusive Travis, there is no mention of her so-called abuse at the hands of her parents, is there? Wouldn't you think that abuse would be one of the most likely things that a person would unburden themselves about in their journal? I mean, lots of people can't talk about abuse, but 'talking' to her journal would be a good way to get those feelings out, without having to involve a 3rd party.

I am not sure if she kept diaries as a young girl but keeping a journal is highly encouraged in the Mormon religion. I think she started writing her journals after she was introduced to the church. I would like to see the outside of the journal themselves. I wonder if they were purchased at one of the Mormon bookstores. If the earlier ones were and the later ones were not, that would be suspicious. I doubt that she would have wanted to risk being remembered by a clerk at a church bookstore purchasing additional journals. Just curious...

I understand they see that JA's a sociopath and want to see her convicted. I just hope this "Travis' responsibility" stuff doesn't end up in a compromise decision of 2nd degree. The ferocity of the premeditated murder and the extent to which she's been able to manipulate evidence and testimony shows how dangerous she is to society and why she should never be freed.

Martinez has questioned defense witnesses about Jodi's stalking. Martinez got the stalking info from the defense witnesses, yes. All the more ammo for the Prosecution and most importantly for the jury. More than one friend of Travis's testified about Jodi's obsessive behavior.

Yes. JM was smart to add that charge in. Basically she's effed either way. She can't say now that it wasn't TA's gun because then it is definitely premeditated - which it obviously is.
