Interesting...I was replaying cross examination and I don't know if it was previously stated but as ALV was asking Juan if he was mad at her and they panned to the defense side of the court, you can see Willmott clearly shake her head as if to say no then it panned back to ALV and she was looking directly at her. I know I saw her look at her almost every time a question was asked but I didn't catch Willmott prompting her any other time. Kind of feels like a baseball game where the base coaches use signs. Should that be allowed?

She then stood up and did some kind of arm move and shrug that would be something you'd do if you were saying something like "well what can we do?... I did approach Sam and Aunt Heather at the end of the break and asked if she was ok and reminded her she has legal rights to NOT be contacted like that....She said "Juan's taking care of it"

I was just coming here to post about her conference being cancelled. I had my bf listen to cross and he didn't see why I thought she was being so douchey.

I have in the past defended some of these witnesses because I feel like they are just telling us what they know, but this woman has it out for men so bad. She completely changed when JM was up to question her even when he wasn't yelling.

I can't wrap my brain around AL having the balls to try to speak to anyone in the Alexander family. What could she possibly say to make good on the fact that she basically said their brother deserved what he got because he was an abuser. Example after example of ppl doing crazy weird shit during this trial. I know at least twice a day watching these proceedings I say..Who does that? Is there something in the water over there? WTFn Hell?

I like that Juan began his cross examination discrediting LaViolette's expert-witness credentials. I didn't watch much of her testimony, but when she first took the stand and was discussing, ad nauseum, her education and qualifications, I thought her background seemed kind of amateurish and less than impressive. It's nice to listen to Juan pointing out her educational limitations. I also like where he's going with the fairy tale angle. And it's such a relief that the torture of listening to the defense witnesses is almost over.

Regarding Juan's style... I think he's very effective and represents the people of the state very well. He's intense and rightfully so. I'm glad that he will bring everything back around to actual facts now. I hope that no one on the jury believes that Jodi was a battered woman who was forced to endure a sexual relationship with a battering flirtatious player, gay pedophile who broke her finger and choked her but continued to have so much control over her that she continued to be deeply in love with him and just couldn't quit him until one fateful day she became so frightened of him and was forced to murder him lest she herself be murdered. If anyone is believing that fairy tale, I think that only someone like Juan can lead them back to reality and hopefully a conviction.

allegedly she said "nothing personal" to Travis's sister Sam. Sam had Juan M "take care of it" from what I understand it is a serious violation for her (as a defense witness) to have any contact with a victims family.
