HEY, I resemble that remark....Seriously, lol! See my post above...I had my hair like that and was seriously debating going back to it. I've had my hair every color of the spectrum at some point. It's not an attention-getting machination (well, not for me anyway, can't speak for that clam Juror #5), but just because I'm very into fashion and I view my hair as an extension of that. It gets boring having it a "natural" color and sometimes I just need to spark it up a few notches (sadly, then I get bored and go back to something mundane for awhile).
But hair isn't always about being an attention-getter. Sometimes it's just about boredom and a fashion statement, just like shoes or handbags.

Those questions were never touched in the 1 minute Alyce spent on the day of the murder. "I'm just here to talk about (whatever you're not asking me about)".
I just assumed that it was the defense strategy of "act like assholes to distract everyone from the truth". It's basically all they have left.

Start sneaking back into trials that you've been publicly kicked out of, and THEN I might put you on the trial superstar list. Two color hair is not enough. You got to mix in a wild card. Pen smuggling in the butt. Growing pot on your mom's roof.
It sounds like this juror added days to the trial all by herself with all the questions she asked. I think that was a big motivation for getting her kicked out.
Wouldn't it just blow up if it turns out this was all a Stabby-Donovan-Juror5 plot to get a mistrial? Stabby looks almost giddy when she came into trial today. Donovan was all decked out in her 70's peace-love-dope tie-dyed duds. First Juror 5 is accused of giving Jodi signals then the defense is claiming she's tainting the jury against Stabby and she's got the boot. Then, in a most bizarre act, the juror shows up to trial. A conspiracy nut would have a field day.

I don't see why, especially after her big grand statement yesterday, the asshat couldn't just sit on her arse at home watching it on live stream rather than plopping herself right into the courtroom. I think she's got ulterior motives.

ETA: Coconut - If I were in that woman's place, I think if I were booted out of a case that I nearly jeopardized and cost the State of Arizona over $1 million due to my shenanigans, I immediately would have dyed my hair to a more traditional color and gone deep, deep into hiding. I'd be (appropriately) mortified and embarrassed and humiliated. Apparently, these are emotions Juror #5 must not be in touch with. I can't even imagine growing a set big enough to waltz my ass into that courthouse and plop down in the gallery. Balls...she's got 'em!!!

It's been stated repeatedly that the TV sound is quite a bit louder than in the actual courtroom due to the mics. That being said, I would prefer to see an attorney who is passionate about their case as opposed to some snarky, giggling twit who is rolling her eyes and scoffing to objections; or the other one who drones on and on, while picking at his junk and his nose. It's easy to say that all JM had to do was this or that. I tend to think with his 30+ (I think this is correct...sorry if I'm off) years of being a prosecutor, he's got it covered. He needs to present his best possible case. Chucking out one aha type question isn't going to make that case, IMHO. LaToilet was being a complete bitch on the stand. Ditto! I signed up on 4/2...can't cancel now unfortunately. It was a very entertaining site before all the bickering started. I don't like to see derogatory comments about anyone, if you differ in opinions, that is one thing, at least agree to disagree and be done with that. It is then things get personal that I have a problem.
Me three. I am fairly new, and admit I have spent almost all my time on MDS on the Jodi Arias thread. Since the rep feature disappeared with no explanation today, I decided to wander the site and try and find the explanation. Well, I found the official explanation, but I also found lots of extremely negative, insulting and derisive comments about this whole thread, and the people who post on it. I was shocked at the vitriolic criticism expressed.
I am puzzled why anyone would hate any thread in particular? Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, but I am puzzled by the hatred for an entire thread. If people aren't interested in this particular thread, why not just skip reading it?
I am also puzzled and insulted by the scathing comments about the participants on this thread in general. Why make a thread about a high profile trial then detest the people who come to your site to post on it? Don't you want more people to participate on MDS?
I had not gone to premium yet, but I was about to when the thread was closed for several days, which was off putting for me. Then the new thread started, and things were mostly going well, now this new slap. As a newer participant, these things do not make me feel like MDS is a place where I am welcome. If that is the intention, great, mission accomplished. If that is not the intention (to make new people feel unwelcome), then perhaps a different approach might be better.

Is there a way for the Judge to ban that juror from being there? I'm guessing not since she was allowed to stay today. Would they really be able to appeal or have a mistrial? With the Judge allowing her to be there?
