If a defense witness was up there; actually answered a question that was posed to them; spoke nicely......I highly doubt there'd be any reason for Juan to be challenging. Just answer the fucking question and there won't be a problem.

Wow, when JW asked Lavi about having a memory problem, Jodi smirked. I hope the jury saw that and rubs her nose in it later. It's funny because you're a liar. Ugh. Hate her.
Also, I was worried about Juan going apeshit on her and it backfiring on him, but as someone already pointed out, it took her all of turn seconds to do a 180 in her attitiude and she seems like a man hater who has been (yet again) bought off to slant the testimony for the defendant and not give and actual OBJECTIVE opinion, despite who's writing her check...so Go Juan go...it the jury is anything like most of us, they're enjoying it too.
I just need to say how much it helps to watch this trial with you guys, and to have this place to vent and discuss and share our silly humor, because without all of you and this place, I think my head would literally have exploded by now from trying to keep up with this insane sideshow of a trial alone.

Well I don't know what Martinez was trying to accomplish with that cracked-out line of questioning but one thing he did accomplish was making himself look like a total lunatic.

I actually think Lava made some solid points on her wrap up. She did a reasonable job with what she had to work with. The defense had a pretty good day bringing up the patterns and Travis's player/horndog lifestyle. They spent too much time to get there but at least they completed their character assassination of Travis. From his emails and lifestyle he does look like a guy who uses women for sex, without really having a loving relationship in his past.
It shouldn't be hard to punch holes in Alyce's testimony. You don't have to yell and scream and go out of control to do it. Why let the witness jerk you around into talking about what she can remember and if your anger affects the answers? Not productive, just self-indulgent. Martinez is a massive queef. Sorry Katie. JW is such a bad lawyer, Alyce had to do most of her own objections! The absolute nerve of her accusing Mr. Martinez of mischaracterizing her testimony! She's done that to Travis for the last 7 days!

Will you people please indulge me? I was in medical appointments until late afternoon and wasn't able to keep up on the thread. What happened to the Reps? Has the format changed? Hate the thought that I can't compliment some of the great insights I read here.
