I really cannot wait for this juror to be interviewed & get to the bottom of it
Same here! I wonder if there will be bidding wars to get her interview? And as far as the phone call to the judge, it could have been like the spectator that got thrown out for saying she wanted hodi to die ~ could be jaii fans trying to get a mistrial or get rid of a particular juror.

If Jinkasaurus had not made the juror comment, jurors may not have had to be questioned, though it was bound to happen sooner or later. Wormi was just waiting for a chance to question them all. We all know from how we have to vent how tough it would be to sit on the jury and never be able to discuss it with anyone. I don't see how it is possible if your family members follow it.

If they ever have to select another jury, they will never find a panel that is ignorant of this case. if they do, they are all ostriches or fibbers.

Maybe the sex was just that good (eww) or something. We will never know his reasoning, but what we DO know is that he obviously didn't take her as a serious threat. At least not that I recall, anyways. Like you pointed out, he was a decent sized guy and she was a smaller chick, it probably never even occurred to him that she would be a danger to his life.

As for getting the advantage on someone physically superior?
That's not hard at all. All it takes is the element of surprise (which she could have gotten whether he dealt with her or not). My bf is 6'4" and I'm a whole 5'3"-4". One day we were playing around and when I went to poke him on the forehead and accidentally got him in the eye. I poked him pretty hard really quick and pretty much dropped him into the fetal position for a good 5 min. I couldn't MAKE him get up to even let me look at it. I could have killed him 5x over, if that had been my intention.

[...and if someone ever confronts my ass in a threatening way in the future, no matter how big they may be, Im going for their eye!]

    Sometimes size really doesn't matter.
The bigger they are, the harder they fall and all that.

    Oh wow!
I have no desire to go to that page out and risk finding something else to add to the list of things you have already provided, so I will just say this: twat indeed.

That would be pretty awesome =)

    She sure has, hasn't she!

Thanks for the list Cocopop, that was fast!

Great points....element of surprise which means vulnerability to his known.....

    You know the rest.....

The parents acknowledging that JA was disturbed and then Mama Arias and her sis irreverence for the trial proceedings is a fine example on display of reaping what you have sown.

Have you noticed how dead- eyed Jodi's family is ? No expressions. they all look like fat mannequins. Talk about "blunt affect".

I disagree with this Psychologist. Narcissists are not a Therapists worst nightmare. I'm not a professional but my dad is a Psychiatrist and a very good one. A male therapists worst nightmare is a female with borderline personality disorder. I don't give a shit what her journals say-cuz she lies in them and just cuz she premeditated it does not mean she doesn't have BPD.

Interesting. I wonder if the poor mom will be demonized a little less now. Some of the comments at her were ruthless.

Like when Rhoda whacked little Claude Daigle for daring to "take" her penmanship medal away from her, the "rightful" winner?

Damnnnn...I've always associated her with Play Misty For Me (GREAT movie, too, BTW), but, yeah...I see the similarities to Rhoda Penmark.

Drew seems lately to get the good stuff more quickly, but I believe Nancy would sacrifice her first-born twin to score the Juror #5 interview.

Any guesses on who lands the Juror #5 interview?
Please please NOT NG or JVM!! I vote for Anderson Cooper :) (yes I know, but he's still nice to look at and exceptionally intelligent)

I can't imagine what it would be like if my child was responsible for slaughtering another human being and facing the death penalty. It's got to be excruciatingly painful. I hate to blame the family for what is evil in Jodi. I think the dad has the right idea by not being in court and supporting Stabby. He can't be all bad. Now her mother....I don't know what to make of her. I know I don't like her, but I can't necessarily blame her for Stabby's actions.

When this trial is over, maybe Lava Lamp and Dr. Dick can carpool together to the unemployment office. Anyone who drinks Stabby's kool-aid seems to self-destruct. She's the malignant gift that keeps on giving.

Ahhh, never even thought of Anderson Cooper (probably because he has a shred of integrity so I don't lump him in with the other wolves, lol!).

I would have much more compassion for HER if I saw that she showed some sort of compassion or empathy for the Alexander family.....but, instead, she almost seems to mock them.

I get that vibe also Annie..it seems like that is what JA's mother's lack of decorum in the courtroom is all about, dissing the Alexander family. It seems like any normal person in Mama A's predicament would display a little more humility considering that she reared the monster that killed someone so savagely.

And another great movie reference! I had not thought of that movie in awhile, but Stabby does remind me of that creepy little girl. (The child who played that part did a pretty amazing job).

I can feel sympathy for a parent whose child has done something so awful. It must be a terrible position to be in. I started out having sympathy for Mrs. Arias, but her behavior in the courtroom has been so offensive and disrespectful, to the court itself, to the Alexander family, and even to her own daughter. She has lost my sympathy with her antics.

Thank you thank you :) /waves from over the hill

I just hope that she decides to talk to someone that wont turn it into 15 second clips in order to yell BOMBSHELL once an hour. Really hope she makes one good stop somewhere, gets it all out and goes into hiding for a while. The HLN circus machine has enough fuel with all the shit piling up in the courtroom under the witness chair.

Or perhaps compulsively writing 18-page "brief notes" to people?

Judging from what we've seen in court and what she herself has testified to, that is one verbose woman. 18 pages is "a brief note" said NO ONE EVER.

Must be difficult containing all of that batshit crazy to just journaling.

I haven't watched NG in a few years just because it has gotten to be so ridiculous. I cringe when the commercials come on with her Bombshell Tonight tagline. Then her and JVM have some of the most annoying guest commentators..who is that lady that yells the whole time when she's on? She annoys the shit out of me..anybody?
