I think the whole who started oral 1st is totally backwards. I wouldn't be surprised if it was Jodi doing all the sneaking into rooms.
The pseudo pious position she attempts to adopt is so glaringly self-serving and obviously hypocritical that every juror must be sick of it too. That ALV uses religious excuses in explaining Arias' mind set is beyond stupid. Arias has been so inconsistent about her 'devotion' to Mormonism. She picks when she is in devout mode, learner mode, advanced mode and 'sort of' a Mormon mode. Anyone with just one brain cell more then the JAII lot see it is simply a trial ploy to portray herself as religious. Her faith was a lifestyle choice to appeal to TA and fit his PreLegal crowd. Trouble is, Arias can't keep her lies straight and the religious inconsistencies very easy to spot - as jury questions indicate.
She was talking about the full frontal/stealth V entry attack, whilst sleeping. She was Mormonized by then, I think! Still, the look on Stabby's face was priceless. She had her head down and looked like she was trying to conceal a self satisfied smirk, keep from laughing. "Ha! You people are actually buying my crap!"
You are so good at this. Do you recall the last report Skye Hughes made to the Prosecutor's Office (before she was put on the Defense Witness List to shut her down), was a report from a friend that Jodi Arias joined the Church in order to get close to Travis. There is no proof whatsoever to dispel the facts that everything she does and says is other than self-motivated and self-serving. If I ever got a letter from someone telling me that they were giving up their life as a sign of devotion to me, I'd seek police protection. Just another delusional stalker.

So, I took lunch break at the same time as the court. Did it ever come out about Juror #5? Was it the one that ate lunch outside the building around the steps or hung around the steps after trial? I think there was one that did that if I can remember through the fog that is ALV testimony.
IMO...I truly think that Hodi was the sexual aggressor from the beginning. I think maybe TA had participated in some heavy petting sessions (yuck I hate that term!), but Hodi was a seasoned fornicator. Poor TA didn't know what hit him once Pirahna Poon got a hold of him. If Hodi started honing her knob polishing skills at 15 you know the woman could prolly hold suction on an onion sack by the time she got a hold of TA. He really didn't have a chance once she introduced him to everything he had been missing out on..
I wonder if Travis asked the hughes to write it. Maybe he didnt think he could get rid of her, but if his good friends made him out to look bad, she might leave?
Karma is only a bitch if you are!
Um, I don't go in the poor Travis arena with the sex. He was a guy like many and followed his dick. He had as much 'free will' as she did, he doesn't get special rules imo.
Bottom line is, he doesn't need excuses in that area imo, sex is never an invitation for murder! Alyce just thinks it is.

Jodi's email to Abe (there is a small part missing) (misspelling could be mine. This was a rush before court comes back on)
Feb 18, 2007
Hi Abe
I'm writing you for a few reasons. Let me get the more trivial ones out of the way first. I tried reaching you by phone during the week without any luck. Probably because I've been calling at ridiculous hours of the night after I'm off work. Like the last three months, I find myself once again near the end of the billing cycle of my cell phone, out of minutes, and paying through the teeth to talk on the phone during daylight hours. But I disgress. The reason I've been trying to reach you is to let you know that I was listening to the online version of "Never Before never again" at freedomvideos.com (?) and some thoughful jerk laced a voice over on Mr. Stonecipher toward the end of the video. He says "there has never been a better time or a better opportunity than right now at Pre-Paid Loser" I am not joking. That's what you hear. If you want to hear it for yourself, go the video. It's about 11 minutes and 45 seconds into it. Just thought I would make you aware of that, since you use that on occasion for your prospects.
The other, and more important reason that I am writing to you is regarding our friendship. You have been a wonderful source of information on many levels and I appreciate your insight and perspective. I'm glad that we met, and I'm glad we are friends. But after considering a few aspects of our friendship, such as the conversation we had the other night revisiting the dream you had to the hug we exchanged at the last AFT in Anaheim. I think we should re-think our conduct toward each other. I know that between you and me those things are simply gestures of a functioning friendship between a couple of single individuals. Up until recently I've considered myself single, and I never would have considered it to be inappropriate or even given it a second thought. Although I'm not married and I'm not Travis' girlfriend. From now going forward I feel that you and I should keep a friendly distance. I'm certainly not suggesting that we ignore each other, but even something as simple as a hug can be misconstrued as something it is not. You and I and everyone are hugging everyone else in this business. We are like a big family. So it may seem somewhat like a foreign request on my part, but you're a pretty savvy guy, so I know you'll understand.
I'm aware that you like me, and you've made that pretty clear. I'm flattered by that. I hesitate to tell you all of this only because I am reminded of the stories ???????????????????????
are not in a committed relationship, but regardless of our status, I care so deeply about his. I often ask myself, how would Travis feel about this? Or, how I would I feel if Travis were doing what I'm doing right now with someone else? In fact, this reasoning has been a compelling force behind all of my actions, decisions and conduct as of late.
Now I'm sure you're already aware of this, but when we hugged at the Grove a few weeks ago, my intention was nothing more than to warmly greet a friend and business associate. But I've since given this further thought and I've asked myself, would I have acted the same if Travis were there that day? In truth, I would not have. And this leads me to question my own character. I don't want to be inconsistent, especially not when it involves something and someone that is so important to me. Granted, human behavior is often modified and adjusted under various circumstances. Everyone does this, it is natural. But at this point, none of that matters to me. What matters to me is how that which I am accountable for would make Travis feel. I care more about him than I ever have. His happiness is of cardinal significance to me, and his feelings and opinions I value more greatly than gold.
I didn't write this email to expound upon my secret worship-Travis-agenda. I only wanted to clear a few things up, if not for you, then for myself. For I'm sure you already "get" all of this anyway. But at least now I've said it, and I can rest easier knowing that we are on the same page about things. I think you're a great person who's never had a single bad intention toward me, and I appreciate all of the time you've taken to impart to me your knowledge, prespectives, and experiences. I will certainly see you around at events, to which you bring a lively energy.
Take care until then, Jodi
That would be so delightful. But I would imagine the DT would not have wanted to get rid of her if she seemed pro-Stabby?
1st stab!
I hope that is it. I feel so badly for his family, and hope they are not feeling that today was a big defeat for them.
I have never seen a courtroom where such behavior is allowed, even in much smaller, less important venues like traffic court or small claims. let alone in Superior Court for a murder trial. So bizarre. I just can't fathom why the judge allows it.
I know Juror 5 blew it, and has only herself to blame, but I still feel badly for anyone who spent 9 weeks on this trial, paying diligent attention and taking notes, only to be kicked off this late in the game. How humiliating.
This is SO telling. Considering Stabby has so few boundaries, if her love is "secret and obsessive" even in HER book, that is saying a lot.
Excellent turn of phrase!
Sociopath with extreme narcissistic personality disorder and some histrionic aspects?
I agree completely. I was totally unimpressed with how the Hughes handled this, especially considering Travis was allegedly a very good friend of theirs.

I think Alyce is full of shit.
is todays testimony posted online yet
Maybe not a common term then. Basically, you do something irrational and then make up a reason to justify it afterwards. Convenient excuses that make certain behaviors ok. Usually used to avoid saying sorry, to get out of taking responsibility, to get your way, etc. Jodi is very delusional, but on some level all of this adds up in her mind.
